    Cloud Technologies in Education: the Bibliographic Review

    The paper considers the use of cloud technologies in education through the prism of bibliographic analysis. The article characterizes the current state of cloud technologies in education, summarizes the trends, and forecasts the directions of recent scientific research. The leading research methods were bibliographic (visual and quantitative) analysis of keyword networks and qualitative discussion. The bibliographic analysis is based on publications indexed by the scientometric database Web Of Science over the past 20 years. The sample for analysis was formed by searching for the words cloud technology, education, learning, and teaching. The results of the study showed: a significant increase in the popularity of cloud technologies in education in recent years; an increase in the number of studies related to various aspects of educational activities under the influence of Industry 4.0; a gradual increase in the number of studies on the virtualization of the educational process and the use of artificial intelligence in education; dissemination of research on the effectiveness of various types of training using cloud services and teaching methods based on artificial intelligence; the relevance of the trend of visualization of educational material and visual analysis in education. The qualitative discussion provided grounds to identify general trends regarding future research directions.: development of mass online courses and learning technologies (immersive, the use of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality, gaming learning technologies, BYOD approach); further virtualization of universities; development of inclusive education, educational analytics, and assessment (formative and adaptive computer assessment); early training of teachers to use cloud technologies and specialized services in subject learning; research related to visualization (big data, design, simulation, simulation of various processes, etc.) and the designing of relevant new academic disciplines; research of STEM and STEAM education.

    Diagnostic Apparatus of Researching the Results of Preparing Teachers to Use Virtual Visibility Tools in Professional Activities

    To define the pedagogical system effectiveness, it is necessary to develop the criteria and indicators of its effectiveness and characterize the learning subjects by levels. The article aim: to develop criteria and indicators for teachers' readiness to use virtual visualization tools in professional activities. Theoretical analysis of scientific sources was used to clarify the possible diagnostic apparatus of the study, generalization of scientific approaches to define essential criteria and indicators, structural and logical analysis of the concept of "teacher's readiness to use the tools of virtual visibility in professional activities" to clarify the links between the components of readiness, the criteria and indicators of their formation, comparison for characterization teacher's readiness levels to use virtual visibility tools in professional activities. To determine the effectiveness of the system of training future teachers of mathematics and computer science to use the means of virtual visibility in professional activities, the criteria and indicators have been developed: value-orientation criterion (indicator – value orientations on virtual visibility use in professional activities); cognitive criterion (indicator – digital awareness in virtual visual aids); technological criterion (indicator – skill use virtual visualization tools to create didactic materials); professional activity criterion (indicators - the ability to develop lessons using tools; the ability to critically evaluate the means of virtual visibility, involving the needs of the educational activities organization); personal criterion (indicators – the ability to critical analysis, self-education, reflection). The developed diagnostic apparatus allows to empirically confirm the effectiveness of the developed pedagogical system for training of future mathematics and computer science teachers to use virtual visibility in professional activities.

    The article proposes a solution of the problem of formation of future teachers' skills to create and use visual models of knowledge in professional activities. It is substantiated that modern students, as representatives of the generation Z, have the majority of visual-oriented perceptions. Modelling of special future teachers’ preparation for the creating of visual models of knowledge is made. The content of the special course, aimed at forming the future teachers’ ability to create and use visual models of knowledge, is described. The pedagogical experiment included two areas of research: the study of the dynamics of the readiness and the formation of skills to create and use visual models of knowledge. Statistical methods confirmed the effectiveness of the author's special course at the significant level of 0.05.

    Introduction of Didactic Games in the Educational Process

    The relevance of the introduction of didactic games into the educational process consists of modern, effective methods of stimulating pupils' educational and cognitive activity, equipping them with new knowledge, skills, and preparing students for independent life. The use of didactic games in the study of mathematics in elementary school is one of the methods of activating the cognitive activity of students during learning. In reality, didactic games are rarely used in mathematics lessons. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the concept of didactic game and its peculiarities in teaching mathematics. Research Methods: terminological analysis to interpret key research definitions; generalization of scientific sources for determining directions of development and application of didactic games in the educational process. Results. The article substantiates the use of didactic games in mathematics lessons for acquainting pupils with new material, for its consolidation, for repeating previously acquired ideas and concepts, for a fuller and deeper understanding of their learning, formation of computational skills, and formation of outlook. It has been shown that the systematic use of games increases the effectiveness of learning. Lessons of generalization and systematization of knowledge give the greatest opportunities for introduction of game elements in educational process of mathematics. The peculiarities of conducting a mathematics lesson in the 7th grade during the study of the theme "Identical transformations of whole expressions" using didactic game are considered. The conclusions are drawn that in the process of didactic game, pupils learn to solve problems, to compare and summarize, to make their own conclusions and to justify them, to prove their own opinion. Use of didactic games at different stages of the lesson is a good and effective way of activating pupils’ educational and cognitive activity, which has a good effect on improving the level of knowledge in mathematics, the development of mental activity.

    Formulation of the problem. The article describes the Ukrainian experience of preparing future specialista for pedagogical design. Materials and method: theoretical: modeling - to substantiate and develop a model of forming the readiness of future specialists -pedagogues to pedagogical design, to identify pedagogical conditions that contribute to the preparation of future specialists for pedagogical design; empirical: diagnostic to find out the effectiveness of pedagogical conditions of forming the readiness of future specialists to pedagogical design; pedagogical experiment (ascertaining, forming) - to check the effectiveness of the model of formation of future specialists’ readiness for pedagogical design; statistical - analysis of the obtained data with the help of mathematical statistics methods for processing and interpretation of experimental results. Results. In particular, the state of development of the problem in the theory and practice of Ukrainian vocational training is described, the essence of pedagogical design is revealed, the essence and structure of readiness of future specialists to pedagogical design are specified; described diagnostic tools for determining the level of readiness of future specialists for pedagogical design; developed and theoretically substantiated model of formation of future specialists' readiness for pedagogical design; the results of the statistical analysis of its effectiveness are described. Conclusions. The effectiveness of the introduced model of forming the readiness of future specialists for pedagogical design was confirmed. The prospects for further scientific research are connected with the development of a holistic concept of project pedagogical activity in higher education, creation of a structural and functional model of project activity of an educational institution in Ukraine.

    The training of teachers involves the formation of skills to use it in their professional activities. Given the exponential increase of information content, require special attention means of computer visualization of educational material, and the ability to use them the teachers became one of the main in the profession. The article describes four levels of readiness to use the means of computer visualization by teachers (passive, basic, conscious, and active) based on the proposed components of readiness (motivational, cognitive, technological, reflexive).

    Recently, the IT-industry has become increasingly popular in Ukraine. Young people are aware of the prospects of their own realisation as programmers, system administrators, web designers, etc. At the same time, the prestige of teachers’ work decreases. Pedagogical universities face the problem of small recruitment for pedagogical specialties, where the specialty of a computer science teacher is not an exception. The article describes the experience of the regional computer graphics competition “Colour Your Life” as one of the solutions to the problem of professional orientation of young people in the computer science teaching profession in Sumy region of Ukraine. The authors studied the following problems: 1) confirmation of the competition status as a regional level competition by determining the geography of the participants; 2) determining the most popular graphic editors among youth; 3) determining the preferences of the competition participants for the future profession choice; 4) confirmation of the relationship between the number of participants and the number of applications for the specialty “014 Secondary Education. Computer science” (results are illustrated with infographics). Based on correlation analysis, a direct relationship between the total number of participants and the number of applicants to Makarenko Sumy State Pedagogical University was confirmed.

    STEM education is becoming more and more relevant today due to society's demand for developing critical thinking and creativity in young people. Such education combines science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics, contributing to developing innovative solutions in education. Studying music within the framework of STEAM is no exception. Music stimulates spatial thinking and helps to learn other disciplines through interdisciplinary connections. A comparative analysis of successful STEM implementation practices allows us to identify effective methods, adapt them to local conditions, and improve educational programs based on evidence-based approaches. The article raises the problem of enhancing music education by identifying the best educational practices of STEM education and music. A comparative analysis of scientific results identifies similarities and differences in approaches to integrating music into STEAM education in different countries. What is detected is an emphasis on interdisciplinary learning that promotes critical thinking and creativity. Countries with arts education programs, like Finland and Canada, demonstrate higher student engagement and achievement. Regions where the arts are not a priority, such as parts of the United States, need help in student achievement. The cultural context significantly impacts music integration; countries with solid musical traditions often view music as a fundamental aspect of education that enriches the learning experience. Several strategies are recommended to enhance STEAM education through music. Educators should develop interdisciplinary lesson plans that combine music with math and science concepts, using project-based learning to create engaging experiences. In addition, educational institutions should adopt supportive policies that prioritize the arts alongside STEM disciplines and provide professional development opportunities for teachers. Collaborative efforts between arts and STEM teachers can facilitate sharing resources and innovative teaching strategies, enriching the educational experience.

    The article discusses the relevance of the study of subject-oriented software (mathematics, physics) by future teachers. The focus is on the requirement not only to know about specialized interactive software, but also to be able to organize an effective learning process with their use. The arguments for the organization of special courses for study of the dynamic mathematics software are the need to demonstrate the abilities of using modern mathematics software, knowledge of operating with various dynamic mathematics software for subsequent rational choice of the optimal tool, expanding of the circle of automatically solved problems, simplifying of mathematical objects modeling. This article briefly describes the program of special course "The Use of Computers in Mathematical Education": the aim of the course is clarified; basic knowledge and skills, which should be formed in the students upon completion of the study, are selected; the topics of the lectures and content of the laboratory practical work are disclosed. The authors describe their own experience of teaching of a course at the Sumy Makarenko State Pedagogical University, which is included in the curricula as variable course of math teacher preparation; in particular, the successive changes of the content of the course, due to constant and rapid development of IT, during all period of learning are described.

    The authors demonstrate a possible method of the interest of the future math, physics and computer science teachers in the mathematical statistics problems by the tools of the programming and use of mathematical software. The applied task is proposed. The flow chart of the visualization of the algorithm for its solution was created based on awareness of the essential theory. The process of this task solving and the design of the answer, using Java programming and the system of computer mathematics Maple, is described. The final step is the visualization of the result using the curve in these software. The conclusions about the advantages and disadvantages of such a construction with the use of information and communication technologies was made.

    The Use of Virtual Physics Laboratories in Professional Training: the Analysis of the Academic Achievements Dynamics

    The development of information technology cause the emergence of different classes of software such as virtual environment for various experiments. Among such a software, there are virtual physics laboratories that are means for educational, scientific and professional activities of physicists, physics teachers, computer science teachers and IT specialists. Numerous pedagogical findings confirm both positive dynamics and negative impact of such software on educational achievements. Given the ambiguity of the conclusions, we have formulated the problem: is it advisable to use virtual physics laboratories instead of relevant physics devices in the study of physics disciplines. The search for an answer to this question caused the organization and carrying out the pedagogical experiment, the results of which are presented in the article. Students of specialties “014 Secondary education (Physics)”, “014 Secondary education (Computer Science)”, “122 Computer science” were participants in the experiment. The purpose of the experiment was to study the dynamics of educational achievements of students whose training used virtual physics laboratories. Non-parametric sign test and Student’s test of comparison average values were used as methods of statistical analysis. Because of the experiment, the positive dynamics for all specialties were confirmed, but the largest dynamics were for the specialty 122 “Computer science”, and the smallest ones were for the specialty 014 “Secondary education (Physics)”. The best dynamics of results of IT students' achievements gives grounds to recommend to include more courses related to the study of information technologies in professional teachers’ training, because we consider this to be the cause of these results.

    Tools for the Development of Emotional Intelligence: Cognitive Native Language Teaching

    The article is devoted to the problem of developing the emotional intelligence of young people. It has been proven that Ukrainian language teaching is a tool that positively affects the development of emotional intelligence. The authors describe the method of cognitive learning of the Ukrainian language, which is based on the integration of cognitive and communicative activities of students. Three hundred twelve students and 16 teachers from various educational institutions in Ukraine were involved in the experiment. Hall's method and conversations with teachers and students were used to assess the impact of the methodology on students' emotional intelligence. Empirical data were subjected to statistical analysis at a significance level of 0.05: the Pearson test was used to confirm the normality of the obtained distributions in groups, and the student's test to evaluate the means separately for each scale. The analysis of empirical data proved a statistically significant positive impact of the cognitive learning method of the Ukrainian language on various parameters of emotional intelligence (emotional awareness, managing one's emotions, self-motivation, empathy, and recognition of other people's emotions).

    Using Bloom’s Taxonomy to Assess Information Hygiene Skills

    The article raises the problem of assessing young people’s information hygiene skills. The authors emphasize that despite the massive introduction of special courses on information hygiene, and the popularization of open educational resources on media literacy, Ukrainian society remains sensitive to informational influences, which is confirmed by hybrid military aggression. The authors consider a change in approaches to the evaluation of the results as one of the possible solutions to the situation. The article substantiates the appropriateness of using Bloom’s taxonomy to assess the formation of youth information hygiene skills. The authors use theoretical (analysis of practices in the application of Bloom’s taxonomy in the educational process, modelling of the evaluation process) and empirical (observation, expert evaluations, pedagogical experiment) research methods. A pedagogical experiment is described, the idea of which is to compare two methods of assessing the formation of information hygiene skills: an online test for checking the level of media literacy and a comprehensive test of information hygiene skills based on Bloom’s taxonomy. The research model involved a double assessment of the formation of information hygiene skills in both ways. The first check took place after half of the course, and the second – at the end of the course. The evaluation results were compared. Based on the comparison of the results, the authors concluded that using Bloom’s taxonomy for assessment provided advantages, as it allowed for the analysis of failure and ways to correct gaps in learning outcomes, while online tests gave higher skill assessments

    У статті коротко описано здобутки науковців кафедри економіки та бізнесу Сумського державного педагогічного університету. Зокрема, описано досвід вивчення проблем диверсифікації виробництва, методики оцінки інвестиційних проектів, податкове навантаження та його вплив на господарську активність підприємства, теоретичні та практичні аспекти формування і підтримки стійкого соціально-економічного розвитку регіону для формування цілісної моделі управління, окреслено головні принципи податкового планування, поняття ефективності оподаткування, види податкової ефективності. Закцентовано увагу на становленні сучасної антикризової системи управління галузями промисловості України, розглянуто інструментарій регуляції справедливого розподілу суспільного продукту в умовах конфлікту інтересів різних соціальних груп на територіях промислових регіонів, тенденції та перспективи розвитку інноваційної діяльності у промисловості України.

    Аналіз компетентнісної орієнтації змісту навчання геометрії на прикладі вивчення теми «трикутники»

    У педагогічній теорії немає одностайного підходу до розуміння компетентнісного підходу і шляхів його впровадження в освітню діяльність, тому ця проблема є предметом дискусій і досліджень, у т.ч. в контексті методики навчання математики. Формування математичної компетентності в учнів основної школи на уроках геометрії передбачає різною мірою формування процедурної, логічної, технологічної, дослідницької і методологічної її складових. Тому мета статті: привести результати аналізу компетентнісної орієнтації змісту навчання геометрії на прикладі вивчення теми «Трикутники». Для досягнення мети використовуються такі теоретичні методи дослідження як: аналіз наукової та навчально-методичної літератури з проблеми дослідження, аналіз змісту навчальних планів, програм та підручників, узагальнення досвіду роботи вчителів математики. Нами проаналізовано завдання з теми «Трикутники» у підручниках сьомих класів та наведено порівняльні таблиці кількості завдань, які спрямовані на розвиток тієї чи іншої компоненти математичної компетентності. Зроблено висновок, що найбільшу частку завдань становлять завдання, спрямовані на формування процедурної компетентності, найменшу – методологічної компетентності. А от завдань спрямованих на формування технологічної компетентності не представлено в жодному з підручників. За аналізом підручників з п’ятого по дев’ятий класи закладів загальної середньої освіти та закладів з поглибленим вивченням математики виявлено, що всі автори намагаються спрямувати кожне зі своїх завдань на розвиток певного компоненту математичної компетентності. Однак кількість таких завдань, відповідно до класифікації компонентів, відрізняється. А кількість завдань з кожного компонента математичної компетентності визначається ще й віковими особливостями учня.

Приділено увагу визначенням критеріїв формування ІК-компетентностей як одним із важливих структурних компонентів. Зроблено аналіз визначення критеріїв сформованості ІК-компетентності різними науковцями. Показано, що компетентнісний підхід в системі вищої освіти є актуальним та має велике значення в сьогоднішній час.
