Анотація
У статті розглянуто теоретичні передумови формування лексичної компетентності в майбутніх учителів англійської мови, які лягли в основу відповідної методики: визначено мету та компоненти змісту лексичної компетентності в майбутніх учителів англійської мови; обґрунтовано доцільність використання комунікативних ситуацій як засобу формування іншомовної лексичної компетентності; уточнено поняття «ситуація спілкування» та розглянуто наявні їх класифікації; запропоновано визначення терміну «ситуація із кіноперсонажами», створено власну класифікація ситуацій із кіноперсонажами для формування іншомовної лексичної компетентності; доведено ефективність використання автентичних художніх фільмів як джерела для вилучення або створення ситуацій із кіноперсонажами для формування іншомовної лексичної компетентності майбутніх учителів англійської мови.
Introduction. Nowadays the society formulates high demands for the level of the lexical competence of future English teachers that requires applying new effective educational technologies. Communication modeling is a necessary condition for the formation of the lexical competence of future English teachers. The situations of communication created on the material of modern authentic artistic films or their fragments of films that show certain situations of communication, and the plot of the film, their characters make it possible to make the process of formation of lexical competence of future English teachers motivated, more emotional and at the same time natural. It will contribute to the effective mastery of future English teachers' lexical knowledge, formation of lexical skills, as well as the ability and willingness to use relevant knowledge and skills in the process of foreign language communication. Purpose. The article dwells upon the problem of forming the lexical competence of future English teachers by means of situations with film characters. Methods. The study provides theoretical substantiation and scientific observation of the organization of the scientific process, the questioning of teachers about the use of situations with film characters for learning the vocabulary of the English language; questionnaire for students (future English teachers) in order to study the frequency of situations involving film characters in English language classes. Results. The article contains an overview of the modern scientific ideas regarding the problem of forming the lexical competence of future English teachers by means of the situations with film characters. It defines the aim and the structural components of the lexical competence of future English teachers and grounds the efficiency of the situation with film characters' usage on the material modern authentic artistic films as a source for the creation of situations with film characters for the formation of the lexical competence of future English teachers. Conclusion. The scientific research has shown that situations with film characters are an effective means of forming lexical competence of future English teachers. First, situations with film characters has a powerful methodological-linguistic, psychological and pedagogical potential; second, both educational and natural communicative situations with film characters ensure the effectiveness of language lexical skills formation because they stimulate future English teachers in the process of learning, show everyday life of native speakers, increase future English teachers' interest in the process of mastering English lexical competence.
