This article sets a goal to demonstrate the ways of possible resolution of the contradictions, which lay at the base of the modern high school system. The process of its standardization, which has left behind itself education and learning, once forming indivisible parts of the complex and integral formation of the individuality, supposes that students, who in the immediate future will become the citizens and the subjects of their countries, have to study for getting new abilities and skills. The last ones, in most cases, don’t give a real chance of developing the students’ creativity. If we take a look at such ideas as human capital and creativity, we can understand that those ideas greatly differ from each other and put the question of the human education, issuing from totally contrary viewpoints. The Internet era, in which we are living, directs society and people toward a serious narrowing of the fund of knowledge. The major companies need a very specialized clerk, able to solve a lot of questions, concerning his/her job, but not having a wide culture. It is not needed today. Human capital and creativity in our world are no more friends. The human capital should be the subject of capital gains of the more important companies, the human capital might be sold, might be bought, but in this case the “human” loses its identity and the human capital gives us only statistical data about the job growth, the salary increase, but no more. Under the magical power of the Internet, where we can find all and do all, particularly working and making money, the human creativity decreases and becomes a non-sense. People know everything, but don’t understand anything, as wittily wrote in his last book Franco Ferrarotti, an Italian professor and sociologist. In the nearest future, the high school system must effort to the formation of a new generation of students, who should be the creators of new social and human values, trying to combine the science and which don’t have to be in submitting to each other, as far as liberal comes from word “free” and people, the Man, we dare to write this word with a capital letter, can develop only holding the more modern mass media, and, at the same time, giving a soul to it.
