Анотація
У роботі розглядаються теоретичні аспекти розвитку екологічного туризму: подано сутність дефініції «екологічний туризм» та охарактеризовано його функції. Визначено сучасні умови функціонування екологічного туризму в Україні, зазначено про зміщення вектору його розвитку в західні регіони держави. Зроблено акцент на важливості збереження природних туристичних ресурсів, інвестицій в туристичну інфраструктуру та державну підтримку туристичної галузі.
The paper examines the theoretical aspects of the development of ecological tourism: the essence of the definition of "ecological tourism" is presented and its functions are characterized. The current conditions for the functioning of ecological tourism in Ukraine are determined, and the shift of the vector of its development to the western regions of the state is noted. The emphasis is placed on the importance of preserving natural tourist resources, investments in tourist infrastructure and state support for the tourism industry.
