Анотація
У статті розглядається роль головоломок як ефективного засобу розвитку сенсорної інтеграції у дітей із затримкою психічного розвитку (ЗПР). Сенсорна інтеграція є важливим процесом, що забезпечує адекватне сприйняття та обробку сенсорної інформації, необхідної для успішного розвитку моторики, когнітивних та комунікативних навичок. Особливості сенсорної інтеграції у дітей із ЗПР часто супроводжуються порушеннями, що потребує цілеспрямованої корекційної роботи. У статті обґрунтовано вибір головоломок серії «Smart Games», які завдяки високій якості матеріалів, різноманітності тематики, градації складності та адаптованості до вікових особливостей дітей, є універсальним інструментом для стимуляції тактильної, вестибулярної, пропріоцептивної, візуальної та слухової систем. Детально проаналізовано, як саме головоломки впливають на основні напрямки сенсорної інтеграції, що відображено у відповідній таблиці. На основі практичного досвіду проведення корекційних занять з дітьми із ЗПР описано структуру заняття, що включає вступну, основну та заключну частини, а також наведено приклади супровідних сенсорних та рухових вправ. Представлено результати спостережень за дітьми під час занять, які свідчать про покращення уваги, моторики, зорово-просторового сприйняття, мотивації та емоційного стану. За результатами корекційних занять розроблено практичні рекомендації для педагогів, корекційних спеціалістів, асистентів вчителів і батьків щодо ефективного використання головоломок у корекційно-розвивальній роботі з дітьми із ЗПР. Отже, головоломки можуть розглядатися не лише як розвивальні ігри, а як цілеспрямований корекційний інструмент, що сприяє гармонійному розвитку сенсорної інтеграції у дітей із затримкою психічного розвитку. Їх використання в освітньому процесі відкриває нові можливості для реалізації індивідуального підходу, підвищення ефективності навчання та якості життя дітей з особливими освітніми потребами.
This article examines the role of puzzles as an effective tool for developing sensory integration in children with delayed mental development (DMD). Sensory integration is a crucial process that ensures the adequate perception and processing of sensory information necessary for the successful development of motor, cognitive, and communication skills. Sensory integration in children with DMD is often impaired, requiring targeted corrective interventions. The article substantiates the selection of «Smart Games» puzzles, which – due to their high-quality materials, thematic variety, graduated difficulty, and age-appropriate design — serve as a universal tool for stimulating the tactile, vestibular, proprioceptive, visual, and auditory systems. A detailed analysis is provided of how these puzzles influence key components of sensory integration, which is presented in a corresponding table. Based on practical experience with correctional sessions for children with IDD, the structure of a typical session is described, including introductory, main, and final parts, along with examples of complementary sensory and motor exercises. Observational results from sessions demonstrate improvements in attention, motor coordination, visual-spatial perception, motivation, and emotional wellbeing. As a result of the correctional work, practical recommendations were developed for educators, correctional specialists, teaching assistants, and parents on the effective use of puzzles in developmental intervention for children with IDD. Thus, puzzles can be regarded not merely as educational games, but as a targeted corrective tool that promotes the harmonious development of sensory integration in children with delayed mental development. Their use in the educational process opens new opportunities for implementing an individual approach, enhancing learning outcomes, and improving the quality of life for children with special educational needs.
