Недержавна вища школа України: ретродосвід та сучасні виклики

Abstract

Монографія є першим історико-педагогічним дослідженням, в якому представлено ретроспективний аналіз ґенези недержавної вищої школи України в кінці XIX – на початку ХХ століття, її теоретичних та організаційно-педагогічних засад. У пропонованій розвідці окреслено чинники та здійснено періодизацію розвитку недержавної вищої школи України в зазначених хронологічних межах; розкрито напрями реалізації громадської і приватної ініціативи в організації та структурній розбудові недержавного сектору; виявлено змістово-процесуальні та кадрові особливості недержавної вищої школи досліджуваного періоду. Визначено тенденції розвитку недержавної вищої школи у світовому вимірі та актуалізовано можливості використання позитивного досвіду в умовах реформування вітчизняної вищої освіти. Монографія адресується широкому освітянському загалу та може бути використана як посібник при викладанні спецкурсів і дисциплін з історії педагогіки, педагогіки вищої школи, андрагогіки, історії України, історії філософії, краєзнавства.

The monograph is the first historical and pedagogical study, which presents a retrospective analysis of the genesis of private higher education in Ukraine in the late XIX - early XX century, its theoretical and organizational and pedagogical principles. The proposed investigation outlines the factors and periodization of the development of non-state higher education in Ukraine within the specified chronological boundaries; the directions of realization of public and private initiative in the organization and structural development of the private sector are revealed; the content-procedural and personnel features of the non-state higher school of the studied period are revealed. The tendencies of development of non-state higher school in the world dimension are determined and the possibilities of using positive experience in the conditions of reforming domestic higher education are actualized. The monograph is addressed to the general educational community and can be used as a guide in teaching special courses and disciplines in the history of pedagogy, higher school pedagogy, andragogy, history of Ukraine, history of philosophy, local lore.
