Анотація
Дослідження присвячене актуальній проблемі вивчення структурних і функціональних характеристик міжкультурної комунікації українських та іноземних студентів у процесі навчальної діяльності. Аналізуються педагогічні, філософські та психологічні передумови досліджуваного явища, розробляється структура та процедура анкетування українського й іноземного студентства. До основних структурних компонентів міжкультурної комунікації українських та іноземних студентів належать: пізнавальна складова (спілкування як процес пізнання іншої культури); мотиваційна складова (інтерес до іншої культури та її основних особливостей); емоційна складова (позитивне переживання студентами комунікації з іноземцями, що представляють культуру, відмінну від рідної).
The research is devoted to the actual problem of studying structural and functional characteristics of Ukrainian and foreign students’ intercultural communication in the process of their studying activity. Pedagogical, philosophical and psychological aspects of the phenomenon under consideration are analyzed, the structure and the procedure of surveying Ukrainian and foreign students is defined. The author developed a questionnaire «Foreign language communication as a means of socialization of Ukrainian students» based on the results of the Ukrainian-American meetings. In the process of analyzing actual researches on the topic under consideration intercultural communication is regarded as a complex, integrated, professional and personal feature of a student, readiness to cooperation between the participants of communication, respect and trust to the partners, free express and exchange of thoughts, the right to make decisions for both sides of communication. It is also pointed out that this communicative skill has a complex structure represented by the following consistent parts: ability to analyze the audience effectively, drawing the audience attention to the given idea, organizing the material of the research or project in a correct way, presenting the ideas to the audience effectively and efficiently, reacting adequately and timely to the verbal and non-verbal behavior of the audience and many others. According to the research done in the article the main components of Ukrainian and foreign students’ intercultural communication include knowledgeable consistent part (communication as a process of knowing another culture); motivated consistent part (interest to another culture and its main peculiarities); emotional consistent part (positive experience of communication with foreign cultures, presenting the culture different from the native one). The clarification of the mechanism opens wide opportunities for further research in the area of improving the process of intercultural communication of Ukrainian and foreign students and build evidence-based social-pedagogical developmental impact on the students in the educational process and educational activity in conditions of modern Ukrainian university.
