Анотація
Система вступу до вищих навчальних закладів США відзначається високою автономією університетів, що дозволяє кожному навчальному закладу самостійно визначати вимоги до кандидатів. Вони можуть включати атестат про середню освіту, середній бал (GPA), мотиваційне есе, рекомендації, наукові роботи, досвід роботи, співбесіду та результати стандартизованих тестів, таких як ACT або SAT. Американська система вступу ґрунтується на принципах демократії, рівності, недискримінації, змагальності та конкурентності, що забезпечують рівний доступ до освіти для всіх вступників, з можливістю компенсації для осіб з особливими потребами. Вибірковість процесу вступу акцентує увагу на академічних і практичних досягненнях кандидатів, з наданням переваги тим, хто демонструє найкращі результати. Університети США мають індивідуальні вимоги до вступників, що можуть включати середній бал (GPA), стандартизовані тести (ACT, SAT), мотиваційне есе, рекомендаційні листи, участь у громадських організаціях та інші документи. Вступні іспити, такі як ACT та SAT, оцінюють знання з англійської, математики та інших дисциплін. The system of admission to higher educational institutions in the USA is characterized by high autonomy of universities, which allows each educational institution to independently determine the requirements for candidates. These may include high school transcripts, grade point average (GPA), motivational essays, references, academic papers, work experience, interviews, and standardized test scores such as the ACT or SAT. The American admissions system is based on the principles of democracy, equality, non‐discrimination, competition and competition, which ensure equal access to education for all applicants, with the possibility of compensation for those with special needs. The selectivity of the admissions process emphasizes the academic and practical achievements of candidates, with preference given to those who demonstrate the best results. US universities have individual admissions requirements, which may include grade point average (GPA), standardized tests (ACT, SAT), motivational essay, letters of recommendation, involvement in community organizations, and other documents.
