Анотація
Метою статті визначено здійснення наукового аналізу категорії «імідж» та обґрунтування значущості цього феномену для професійної підготовки майбутнього керівника закладу освіти Використано такі методи як теоретичний аналіз, логіко-теоретичне узагальнення та порівняльний аналіз концепцій провідних науковців, що дало змогу впорядкувати, конкретизувати та розкрити існуючі підходи. Встановлено, що імідж керівника є системотвірним конструктом, який інтегрує особистісні риси, професійні компетентності й ціннісні орієнтації, слугує індикатором професійної соціалізації та чинником організаційної стабільності. У результаті з’ясовано сутність поняття «імідж» та доведено його вагому ролі у формуванні управлінської компетентності освітнього менеджера.
The article carries out a scientific analysis of the category of «image», systematizes scientific approaches to its interpretation and substantiates the significance of this phenomenon for the professional training of the future head of an educational institution. The purpose of the study is to clarify the essence of the concept of «image» and prove its significant role in the formation of the managerial competence of an educational manager. To achieve the goal, a set of theoretical methods is used, in particular, theoretical analysis, logical-theoretical generalization and comparative analysis of the concepts of leading scientists, which made it possible to organize, specify and reveal existing approaches. As a result of the study, the origins of the scientific use of the concept of «image» are analyzed, its interdisciplinary nature is proven, its interpretation in various fields of knowledge is systematized and its content characteristics are specified. It was found that in the pedagogical context, the image appears as a model of conscious behavior and professional compliance, in the sociological context – as a tool of social management and influence on mass consciousness, in the philosophical context – as a synthesis of truth, symbols and cultural values, and in the psychological context – as an idealized, often emotionally colored image that may differ from reality. It is proven that the image has a regulatory, communicative and value function, performs the role of a socio-psychological mechanism of influence and a management tool, and also directly affects the effectiveness of leadership, the legitimacy of the head’s power and the competitiveness of the educational institution. The practical significance of the results obtained lies in the fact that the image is considered as a strategic resource for the development of an educational organization, and the formation of image competence of future education managers – as a necessary condition for improving the quality of management activities, ensuring trust from the team, partners and the community, as well as strengthening the reputational capital of the educational institution. It is concluded that the image of a leader is a system-forming construct that integrates personal traits, professional competencies and value orientations, serves as an indicator of professional socialization and a factor of organizational stability. Prospects for further scientific exploration are seen in the development of practical models and technologies for the formation of image competence of future education managers, and in the empirical study of the relationship between personal and professional image.
