Анотація
У статті за допомогою контент-аналізу визначено кількісні значення 14 показників авторства статей у вибраних наукових географічних виданнях 2019 року (для сімох загалом, із них п’ять – українських). Досліджено річний обсяг статей у “Віснику Львівського університету. Серія географічна”, “Наукових записках СумДПУ ім. А. С. Макаренка. Географічні науки”, УГЖ, “Віснику Харківського національного університету ім. В. Н. Каразіна. Геологія. Географія. Екологія”. У трьох інших журналах досліджено останні випуски 2019 року: No. 4 з “Journal of Geology, Geography and Geocology”, No. 4 з “Transactions of the Institute of British Geographers”, No. 12 з “Nature Geoscience”. У розрізі одиничних випусків з кількістю статей від 10 до 29 показники авторства мають і спільні, і відмінні риси, як з точки зору порівняння українських та зарубіжних видань, так і з точки зору порівняння сімох вибраних видань між собою. Найбільша різниця спостерігається в результатах ґендерного аналізу авторських колективів статей: вся досліджена українська періодика показала більшу паритетність у представництві жінок і чоловіків, ніж це спостерігаємо у британському журналі з даного дослідження і у висновках досліджень попередніх років про ситуацію в географічних топ-журналах загалом.
This research considers the authorship of the peer-reviewed articles from published in 2019 seven geography journals, among them are five Ukrainian journals (Visnyk of the Lviv University. Series Geography, Scientific Notes of Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko. Geographical Sciences, Journal of Geology, Geography and Geoecology (No. 4), Ukrainian Geographical Journal, Visnyk of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. Series Geology. Geography. Ecology), Transactions of the Institute of British Geographers (No. 4), and Nature Geoscience (No. 12). The next characteristics were calculated or determined (the results for the Ukrainian journals): the total number of authors per journal (31–47); the number of authors per article (1–8); the average number of authors per article (for each journal; 1,6–2,9); the number and proportion of the single-authored articles per journal (1–15 articles, 7–52%); the geographical affiliation (the total number of cities and/or countries; 5–15 cities, 1–5 countries); the average institutional affiliation per article (for each journal; 1,1–1,5); the proportion of the domestic and/or international institutional affiliation per journal; 7–40%); the proportion of the internal institutional affiliation per journal (7–83%); the number of female and male authors per article (0–4/0–3); the average number of female and male authors per article (for each journal; 0,7–1,7/0,8–1,3); the proportion of the female authors per journal (43–61%); the number and proportion of articles with only female, only male, and mixed authorship per journal ( proportion: only female 8–41%, only male 14–38%, mixed 34–69%); the proportion of female first and last authorship position in gender mixed articles (per journal; first 13–57%, last 56–75%); the proportion of female authorship of the single-authored articles per journal (25–100%). In generally the gender analysis shows the bigger parity in the representation of female and male authors among the Ukrainian journals than in observed British journals and the findings of earlier researches about the situation in geographical top journals.
