The article describes methodological approaches to vocal training of future music teachers on consolidation basis. The concept of "vocal art" is revealed. "Vocal art" is defined as performance of music in a voice, the art of transmitting, by means of a singing voice, the ideological content of a musical work. Based on justification of various interpretations of methodological approaches in the context of this research, personal, national and ecological- cultural approaches are determined. It is proved that the main link in ensuring effectiveness of music teachers training is introduction of a consolidation approach that ensures interaction of the personal, national and cultural directions of education, provided that content of each of them is preserved. In the study vocal training is considered, on the one hand, as vocal art, - a kind of musical-performing activity based on the mastery of a vocal voice; and on the other hand - as a result of a scientific approach to the formation of a singer's voice, which substantiates the processes of voice and sound creation. In order to find out methodological approaches to future music teachers' vocal training on consolidation basis, were used theoretical methods of research, namely: general scientific - analysis, synthesis, abstraction, comparison and generalization, specific scientific - a method of terminological analysis, application of which allowed to clarify the fundamental concepts of research; structural-functional, which enabled defining essential characteristic of isolated methodological approaches. Summarizing discussed above positions, it is advisable to formulate conclusions on timeliness and necessity of developing the chosen problem. The article outlines theoretical basis for musical art specialists' training and its conceptual foundations. The ideas outlined in the article confirm the need for further development of the identified problem in the directions of determining the ways of ensuring competitiveness of future specialists in the field of music art in the process of training; specifics of formation of students' musical¬performing culture; methods of forming pedagogical mastery of musical art students, etc.
