Анотація
У статті проаналізовано й описано особливості навчання фахової іноземної мови (ІМ) у співробітництві викладача і студентів галузі будівництва та цивільної інженерії в закладах вищої освіти (ЗВО) та взаємодію студентів між собою під час навчання. Розглянуто різні моделі професійно орієнтованого спілкування та взаємодію комунікантів системи «студент – викладач – інформаційний простір». Охарактеризовано особливості співробітництва викладача і студентів галузі будівництва та цивільної інженерії на заняттях із фахової ІМ. Виділено можливі труднощі методики викладання ІМ у співробітництві, що стоять перед сучасним викладачем ІМ у ЗВО технічного спрямування. У статті наголошується на необхідності враховувати знання студентів із фахових дисциплін і пріоритетні професійні напрями їх майбутньої діяльності при виборі тем для іншомовного спілкування в цілому та читання й опрацювання лексики на заняттях із ІМ зокрема.
Introduction. Scholars have shown that dynamic learning is an important constituent part of an active learning process that allows encouraging students’ motivation for mastering foreign language. It was found out that tutors’ understanding of the concept that active learning activity should be viewed as students’ previous experience and their leading representative system functioning would provide an effective support in foreign language learning for different technical specialties. Purpose. To determine the features of an active education work in collaboration and cooperation of a tutor of English for Specific Purpose and students of construction and civil engineering fields; to describe the process of possible ways sharing information among different communicants in the process of foreign language mastering; to identify the main challenges in active language learning in collaboration and cooperation. Methods. Reviewing the studies of active learning conducted abroad and in Ukraine with the view to analyze existing scientific concepts of foreign language learning activities. Results. This article describes different models of “communicative facets” and identifies three communicants in the system “tutor – student – information space”. The process of possible ways sharing information between different communicants is termed. The main challenges in learning process of English for Specific Purpose in collaboration between “tutor – student” and cooperation among “student – student” are discussed. Conclusion. Students’ technical skills can be regarded as the main impetus for the development of language education. It is essential to pay attention to the practical needs of further professional activities for students of civil engineering and construction fields. It is advisable to choose the themes of English for Specific Purpose in collaboration with students and take into consideration students’ technical ideas and practical application of knowledge.
