Анотація
У статті здійснено аналіз наукових джерел, які містять теоретичні відомості щодо поняття «активне навчання». Визначено, що обов’язковим під час підготовки вчителів географії має стати комплексне, систематичне використання засобів комп’ютерно-інформаційних технологій у поєднанні з активними формами проведення практичних занять, де студенти є активними учасниками навчального процесу. Висвітлено різні форми й методи активного навчання, які можуть бути застосовані на заняттях з фізико- та економіко-географічних дисциплін. Розглянуто можливості використання методу проектів, семінару-дискусії з елементами мозкового штурму під час підготовки географів для активізації мислення та спонукання студентів до прийняття творчих, самостійних рішень.
The article notes that at the stage of education informatization modern school needs geography teachers of a new type, competent in the field of computer and information technologies, able to acquire knowledge and take creative decisions independently. It emphasizes that the effectiveness of the teacher in using computer, multimedia and telecommunication networks is defined not only by using specific software in the educational process, but also by appropriate forms of classes organization. It stresses that to improve the efficiency and quality of geographers training it is necessary to organize the learning process with active students’ position for creativity and autonomy in acquiring geographical knowledge in the physical and economic-geographical disciplines. This paper analyzes the scientific sources that contain theoretical information about the concepts ‘tools of computer and information technologies’, and ‘active learning’. It is determined that during geography teachers’ training comprehensive, systematic use of computer and information technologies, combined with active forms of practical training where students are active participants in the learning process should be mandatory. It is specified that the fragmentary, episodic use of computer and information technologies in the educational process by the teacher not only does not provide the desired effect, but can lead to undesirable results. The article covers various forms and methods of active learning that can be applied in the classroom to the physical and economic-geographical disciplines. It considers the possibilities of the project method, seminar discussions with elements of brainstorming while preparing geographers to enhance thinking and encourage students to take creative, independent decisions. The article states that the use of these methods supported by the use of computer and information technology during practical lessons can improve the effectiveness of training, promote active discussions, increasing the effective work of future specialists and teachers, and also positively affect the educational environment. Attention is focused on the use of active forms of practical training with Power Point, interactive maps, the Internet to gain visualization of geographic information and its active perception by geographers, which provides opportunities for deep mastery of the material. The article emphasizes that it is this combination that will promote a deeper acquisition of new knowledge by future teachers of geography, the development of geographic and creative thinking, and creating interest in geographical sciences.
