Abstract

Арабо-ізраїльський конфлікт займає важливе місце у міжнародних відносинах. Його виникнення пов’язане з загостренням палестинської проблеми після Другої світової війни та створенням держави Ізраїлю. І сьогодні на Близькому Сході не припиняються конфлікти, які забирають життя багатьох людей та несприятливо впливають на розвиток регіону. Дане дослідження розкриває становище на Близькому Сході після Другої світової війни; хід та наслідки арабо-ізраїльських конфліктів у 40-70-х рр. ХХ століття; висвітлює зовнішньополітичний курс США на Близькому Сході у 40-70-х рр. ХХ століття стосовно арабо-ізраїльського конфлікту; характеризує проблеми, пов’язані з урегулюванням конфлікту та роль США в арабо-ізраїльських переговорах.

The Arab-Israeli conflict occupies an important place in international relations. Its emergence is linked to the escalation of the Palestinian problem after World War II and the creation of the State of Israel. And today, conflicts in the Middle East continue to take the lives of many people and adversely affect the development of the region. This study reveals the situation in the Middle East after World War II; the course and consequences of the Arab-Israeli conflicts in the 1940s and 1970s; highlights the US foreign policy in the Middle East in the 1940s and 1970s with regard to the Arab-Israeli conflict; describes the problems related to the settlement of the conflict and the role of the United States in the Arab-Israeli negotiations.
