Translation Strategies for Adequate Delivery of a Literary Text Modality

The report highlights the problem of modality delivery in translation of literary texts. It is stressed that an adequate modality delivery gets aggravated by uneven distribution of modality expression means throughout the length of the source text. While defining the result of translation expected (adequate or acceptable) it is the type of translation leveraged (pragmatic or on the semantic) that is to be resorted to while reproducing modality permeating a literary text on all the language levels.
