Анотація
У статті актуалізовано проблему навчання іноземних студентів в Україні, наголошено на значущості їхньої якісної мовної підготовки для успішної освіти за фахом. Проаналізовано можливості використання дидактичних ігор на початковому етапі навчання іноземців української мови. Пояснено особливості застосування їх як засобу стимулювання пізнавальної активності студентів. Презентовано види дидактичних ігор до тем «Людина та її тіло», «Сім’я», «Житлові приміщення» та «Інтер’єр кімнати». Схарактеризовано умови успішного проведення дидактичних ігор.
The problem of training foreign students in Ukraine and importance of their effective language training for successful professional education are identified and emphasized in this article. The purpose of the paper is to identify the didactic potential of using didactic games at the initial stage of teaching Ukrainian language for foreign students. The methods used in the selection of the training materials, their systematization and preparation for publication are such as the analysis of theoretical sources on the identified problem, and the methods of stimulation interest in learning. The scientific literature sources reviewed allowed coming to conclusion that didactic games are suitable for use in different age groups and education institutions and are also effective at different stages of learning including teaching of foreign students. The didactic game is found to invigorate, make the learning process more interesting, enhance the students’ educational and cognitive activity, and encourage them to work actively in the classroom. The possibilities of using didactic games at the initial stage of teaching Ukrainian for foreigners are analyzed. The peculiarities of using them as a means of stimulating students’ cognitive activity are explained. Types of didactic games for the topics “Man and his body”, “Family”, “Living space” and “Room interior” are presented. The conditions for successful didactic games are characterized as well. The practical significance of the study is that developed didactic games can become the basis, a kind of model for preparing a set of didactic tasks of this type for teaching Ukrainian for foreign students. When teaching foreign students, a didactic game is an effective method of learning, as it enables acquiring the necessary educational material more deeply and its better mastering. Tasks in the form of game help students adapt in a foreign language environment, practical situations allow realizing the need for profound learning of the language. We see the prospects for further scientific exploration in the development of grammar, lexical and grammatical, spelling didactic games, as well as in the analysis of methodological approaches to organization of creative games that promote development of communication skills of foreign students.
