У статті висвітлено ключові аспекти підготовки фахівців у галузі соціального захисту населення. Основний акцент зроблено на важливості курсу у формуванні базових знань та умінь студентів. Описано методики викладання, які адаптуються до сучасних освітніх потреб. Також розглянуто роль дисципліни «Вступ до спеціальності «Соціальне забезпечення» в адаптаційному процесі студентів‐першокурсників. Освітню програму Чернівецького національного університету ім. Юрія Федьковича представлено як ефективний інструмент підготовки кваліфікованих фахівців, здатних відповідати вимогам сучасного ринку праці у сфері соціального забезпечення.
The article focuses on the evolution of Ukraine's social protection system and the significance of training professionals in this field. The author states that the evolution of Ukraine's social protection system reflects the country's historical and socio‐political changes. Initially shaped by Soviet‐era policies, it has undergone significant transformation since Ukraine's independence. The system has evolved to address the diverse needs of its population, focusing on social welfare, healthcare, and pensions. Reforms have been implemented to modernize the system, making it more efficient and responsive. This evolution is marked by efforts to align with international standards and practices, adapting to the changing socio‐economic landscape of Ukraine. The system's development signifies a shift towards a more inclusive and sustainable model of social security. Also, the author presents the course "Introduction to the specialty 'Social Security'" as a crucial component in preparing modern social security specialists. The article explores various elements of the course content, such as an overview of the specialty, its history and development, key concepts and terms, career opportunities, and an overview of the main technologies and methods used in the field. The structure of the course and the teaching methodologies employed are also discussed, emphasizing the importance of adapting teaching strategies to effectively engage and motivate students. The role of the course in facilitating first‐year students' adaptation and providing a foundational understanding of the field is emphasized, along with a discussion on the competencies and skills that students are expected to develop. The article also delves into the educational program at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, detailing its structure, objectives, and the various professional opportunities available to graduates in the field of social security.
