dc.description.abstractУ статті проаналізовано сучасні кількісні, якісні та гібридні методи й моделі оцінювання впливу цифровізації на складові сталого розвитку. Встановлено, що існуючі підходи надають цінну інформацію про прямі результати впровадження цифрових технологій, проте значною мірою ігнорують непрямі, довгострокові наслідки, а також складні взаємозв’язки між економічними, соціальними та екологічними аспектами. Визначено основні обмеження: обмежена доступність і стандартизація даних, ізольованість аналізу складових сталого розвитку та орієнтація моделей на короткострокові результати. Запропоновано напрями удосконалення моделей оцінювання: інтеграція динамічних даних у режимі реального часу, застосування міждисциплінарного підходу, розробка прозорих систем звітності та створення моделей, орієнтованих на прийняття політичних рішень. Результати дослідження сприяють підвищенню ефективності використання цифровізації для досягнення цілей сталого розвитку.
dc.description.abstractThe article provides a comprehensive analysis of contemporary quantitative, qualitative, and hybrid methods and models for assessing the impact of digitalization on the economic, social, and environmental dimensions of sustainable development. It emphasizes that while current quantitative approaches, such as indicator-based frameworks and data-driven models, allow for standardized comparisons and measurable tracking of progress, they often fail to fully capture the complex, context-dependent dynamics and long-term implications of digital transformation. Case studies, expert evaluations, and stakeholder consultations give depth and contextual understanding but cannot be generalized. Qualitative methods can be combined in a hybrid model which would be increasingly advocated in order to bridge this very gap between statistical rigor and contextual insight towards balanced multidimensional assessment. The main limitations of the models that were used previously have been scoped as limited data availability and comparability, insufficient integration of the three pillars of sustainability, mostly short-term and direct effects focused, and standardized reporting frameworks. It therefore draws some special challenges in modeling the indirect and cascading effects of digitalization on employment new social normative shifts increased energy demand and e-waste generation which will be long term but very evident. The article has therefore proposed that real-time dynamic data streams be integrated from IoT and smart infrastructure into hybrid interdisciplinary economic environmental and social accounting systems with transparent simplified reporting templates that are developed for the policies to choose the best practice to act upon. The findings move forward with methodological basics toward the assessment of digital transformation within sustainable development and at the same time share hands-on details with policymakers, researchers, and practitioners who may want to take care of digitalization as a promoter of inclusive, resilient, and environmentally responsible growth.
