Анотація
У статті обґрунтовано важливість вивчення організаційно-управлінської діяльності видатного вченого, педагога А. Каришина стосовно підготовки вчительських кадрів. Підкреслено вагомість внеску вченого у розвиток хімії аценафтина. Показано роль вченого у залученні молоді до наукових досліджень. Розкрито особливості авторських форм і методів роботи у навчальному процесі системи вищої освіти України. Вказано на вагомість впливів педагога у формуванні особливості шляхом патріотичного, екологічного, морального виховання. Підкреслено значення особистого прикладу у вихованні молоді. Проаналізовано сучасні ознаки професійно-особистісної складової готовності студентів природничого факультету як майбутніх учителів до процесу творення масштабних змін в житті суспільства.
Drawing upon the positive experiences of an eminent scholar and talented educator helps us identify effective methods for influencing the development of a future teacher's personality as an active subject of learning and upbringing. The life and work of A. Karyshyn align with the well-known dictum of the distinguished pedagogue K. Ushynsky, who stated that only a personality can educate another personality. Studying the organizational and managerial legacy of this renowned educator will facilitate new opportunities and help overcome obstacles in shaping the ideal image of a teacher, consistent with current trends in national higher pedagogical education. Based on the conducted research into A. Karyshyn's organizational and managerial activities, this paper outlines ways to actualize his pedagogical legacy in higher education institutions across Ukraine. An analysis of the contemporary needs for renewing Ukraine's higher education system in training future teachers substantiates that A. Karyshyn's experience is successful, multifaceted, and effective. It is geared towards fostering a serious, thoughtful attitude towards their profession in future teachers, instilling a sense of responsibility, and cultivating a desire to seek new, effective forms of work. An examination of the strategic directions for the development of Ukraine's modern education system leads to the conclusion that A. Karyshyn's pedagogical ideas are reflected in the evolution of contemporary pedagogical theory and practice. Investigating and elucidating A. Karyshyn's scientific and pedagogical legacy reveals the congruence of his views with the provisions of currently effective state regulatory documents. These include the Laws of Ukraine "On Higher Education" (2014), "On Education" (2017), "On Complete General Secondary Education" (2020), "New Ukrainian School" (2016), "Strategy of National-Patriotic Education for 2020-2025" (2019), and others. The correspondence with these state documents is evident in the following aspects: 1. directing educational development towards the training of comprehensively competent and creative specialists. 2. ensuring the unity of theory and practice. 3. scientific rigor in educational development. 4. the necessity of mastering cutting-edge technologies. 5. utilizing scientific achievements in daily life. During the course of scientific inquiry, it was established that A. Karyshyn dedicated over 40 years of his life to working as a lecturer and dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences at V.G. Korolenko Poltava State Pedagogical University. His primary goal was to cultivate highly professional teachers and to educate comprehensively and harmoniously developed creative individuals. We believe that the following directions are promising for disseminating the advanced pedagogical experience, life, and organizational-managerial activities of A. Karyshyn in the practice of higher education institutions: • Further development and attraction of attention to the scholar's pedagogical forms and methods of work among young researchers and practicing educators. • Popularization of A. Karyshyn's pedagogical ideas, his forms, and methods among the pedagogical community. • Promotion of the scholar and educator's creative legacy through scientific forums such as "Karyshyn Readings." • Utilization of the leading pedagogical ideas from his legacy during scientific conferences, seminars, and webinars. • Excursions to A. Karyshyn's museum room at V.G. Korolenko Poltava National Pedagogical University. • Conducting further research into little-known facts of A. Karyshyn's organizational and managerial activities, which deepen the understanding of the scholareducator's contribution to the development of chemical science and pedagogical practice. A. Karyshyn's pedagogical ideas have not lost their relevance in modern conditions because his approaches, methods, and the overall orientation of the educational process were ahead of their time. They were innovative and aimed at training highly professional teachers, aligning with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education" and the general direction of national educational reforms. The greatest value in A. Karyshyn's legacy was the combination of theoretical knowledge with the practice of everyday life, educating youth on the traditions of folk pedagogy (to learn how to live, to be diligent masters of the land), with an active focus on changes in the life of the state through the transmission of knowledge to future generations. Thus, A. Karyshyn's scientific discoveries, pedagogical ideas, views, and practical actions represent a significant contribution to the development of the modern education system and the upbringing of the young generation of Ukraine.
