dc.description.abstractДосліджено минуле першого жіночого закладу загальної середньої освіти в Сумах. Висвітлені перипетії його створення як жіночого училища 2-го розряду, набуття ним статусу прогімназії та гімназії, перетворення останньої на радянську школу. Розкриті питання матеріально-технічного та фінансового забезпечення гімназії, організації її управління, здійснення керівництвом кадрової політики, влаштування навчально-виховного процесу, статусу та грошової винагороди викладачів, професійного вибору випускниць. Акцентована доброчинна діяльність благодійників, спрямована як на підтримку школи, так і малозабезпечених чи хворих учениць. Описана участь гімназисток і випускниць гімназії в опозиційному русі.
dc.description.abstractThe past of the first women's institution of general secondary education in Sumy was studied. The vicissitudes of its creation as a 2nd-tier women's school, acquisition of the status of progymnasium and gymnasium, and the transformation of the latter into a Soviet school are highlighted. Issues of material, technical and financial support of the gymnasium, organization of its management, implementation of personnel policy by the management, arrangement of the educational process, status and remuneration of teachers, professional choice of female graduates are revealed. Charitable activities of benefactors, aimed both at supporting the school and poor or sick schoolgirls are emphasized. The participation of the gymnasium students and graduates in the opposition movement is described.
