dc.description.abstractУ статті висвітлено питання виникнення патріотичного виховання на території нинішньої України в другій половині ХІХ ст. і його розвиток до 1939 р. Визначено сутнісні характеристики патріотичного виховання та його зв’язок із релігійно-моральним, суспільним, естетичним, музично-вокальним, трудовим, пластовим (виховання характеру) та фізичним вихованням. Виокремлено основні підходи до визначення ролі традицій національної фізичної культури та їх застосування у вихованні сучасного молодого покоління. Визначено чинники, що позитивно впливають на патріотичне виховання молоді в сучасних умовах розвитку України. Автором виокремлено дефініції, що мають безпосереднє відношення до поняття «патріотичне виховання», зокрема – «історія», «національна свідомість», «патріотизм». У статті запропоновано перспективи подальших наукових досліджень, що стосуються підготовки майбутнього вчителя фізичної культури до патріотичного виховання старшокласників.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractThe article highlights the issue of occurrence of patriotic education in Ukraine in the second half of the nineteenth century and its development up to 1939. The essential characteristics of patriotic education and its relationship to religious and moral, social, aesthetic, musical and vocal, character education and physical education are defined. Author determined basic approaches to defining the role of the national traditions of physical culture and their application in the modern education of the younger generation. The factors, that positively affect the patriotic education of youth in modern conditions of Ukraine are defined. The author singles out definitions that are directly related to the concept of «patriotic education» in particular – «history», «national consciousness», «patriotism». The article offers recommendations for further research concerning the preparation of future teachers of physical culture to the patriotic education of high school students. The article presents the causes of patriotic education – the need to preserve human values; determining the health centers of physical education and sports; geopolitical identity of Ukraine; formation and development of religious and moral education; development of mass sports work as a means of national and military-patriotic education; singling out one person in the education of a group of people; preservation and promotion of the Ukrainian language. The article deals with the historical, social and philosophical problems of formation and development of Ukrainian national system of physical culture. National traditions of physical culture discussed in three aspects: 1) physical education as a process of activity; 2) physical culture as certain values; 3) physical education as a result. The author identified the following areas of Ukrainian education: intellectual, national, patriotic, social, economic, religious, moral, economic and practical, hygienic and physical, family. The author determined positive factors that influence moral education on the individual student: establishment of public schools, Ukrainian language in the list of mandatory training courses, establishment of gymnasiums. Patriotic education of students is a process of impact on the individual. The purpose of education is the formation of a highly cultured and educated person. The perspective is to review current approaches to the nature and content of training future teachers of physical culture to the patriotic education of Ukrainian youth.uk_UA
