dc.description.abstractУ статті на основі аналізу нормативних документів, навчальних планів та програм, підручників, навчально-методичних посібників, вітчизняного й зарубіжного досвіду схарактеризовано навчально-методичне забезпечення з формування мовнокомунікативних навичок іноземних студентів медичних спеціальностей засобами професійно орієнтованого тексту. Доведено, що професійно орієнтовані тексти сприяють вирішенню завдань іноземними студентами у професійній діяльності при проходженні фахової практики й формуванню професійної комунікативної компетентності.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractIn the article on the basis of normative documents, study plans and programs, manuals, teaching methodological materials, Ukrainian and foreign experience, the value of the professionally oriented text as a way of language and communication skills formation in foreign medical students is formulated. It is known, that language and communication skills are the part of formation of communicative competence. It is proved, that professionally oriented text help foreign students to solve professional tasks during professional practice in hospitals and help to form professional language culture. According to the Bologna process, the number of exchange programs between Ukrainian and foreign higher education institutions increases annually, and therefore the number of foreign students who want to learn Ukrainian is growing up. The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine sees the need to modernize educational programs to the requirements of modern society and to approve the draft State Standard of Ukrainian as a Foreign Language. Moreover, foreign students are attracted by higher medical education. The question of ensuring the quality of medical education for foreign students arises. The priority is language training. Lessons of Ukrainian as a foreign language should be filled with professionally oriented content. According to the Draft Standard on Ukrainian as a Foreign Language, all universities, professors and teaching stuff must be united for creation study materials, books, manuals, creating structural and linguistic component. Having analyzed the manuals, books, professionally oriented texts of Ukrainian and foreign authors for foreign medical students, the author's collective of Language Training Department of Sumy State University created the manual "Preparing for clinical practice (texts for reading in specialty): teaching materials for foreign students of the Medical Institute of SSU" as an attempt to correspond to the modern education demands. The tasks are aimed at actualization of all kinds of speech activity: reading, speaking, listening, and writing. Educational materials correspond to the program of study foreign students of medical specialties and contain four topics: three texts to each topic. This manual showed the effectiveness of exercises and professionally oriented texts in the process of formation communicative skills of foreign students. Therefore, language and communicative skills are the main components of the professional communicative competence of foreign medical students. The necessity to improve the requirements for the content and structure of professionally oriented texts as a means of forming skills in Ukrainian language as a foreign language classes makes the ground for further investigations.uk_UA
