dc.description.abstractСтаттю присвячено дослідженню методичного потенціалу реалізації соціально‐емоційного навчання (СЕН) у процесі позакласної роботи з англійської мови (АМ) учнів 5‐6 класів закладів загальної середньої освіти (ЗЗСО). Розглянуто місце СЕН у сучасній освітній парадигмі, проаналізовано зміст нормативних документах базової середньої освіті та навчанні АМ у ЗЗСО України. За результатами аналізу та синтезу даних актуальних досліджень і публікацій з проблематики СЕН подано визначення СЕН, соціально‐етичної компетентності, охарактеризовано компоненти і вміння СЕН; розглянуто структурні моделі емоційного (соціального) інтелекту в контексті предмету дослідження. Запропоновано класифікацію інструментів СЕН для організації позакласної роботи з АМ учнів 5‐6 класів ЗЗСО в актуальних умовах змішаного навчання, розглянуто відповідні групи інструментів, надано приклади вправ.
dc.description.abstractThe article is devoted to investigating into the methodological potential ofsocial‐emotional learning (SEN) in organizing extracurricular work on the English language (EL) of the 5‐6th grade students in general secondary education institutions (GSEI). The place of SEN in the modern educational paradigm is considered, the content of the normative documents of basic secondary education and EL training in GSEI of Ukraine, the state educational program "Social and Emotional Learning" are analyzed. Applying analysis and synthesis of the current research data and findings on the issue of SEN, the authors provide the definition of socio‐ethical competence, SEN, characterize the main SEN components and skills, consider structural models of emotional (social) intelligence in the context of this research. The ways of implementing SEN in organizing EL extracurricular work of the 5‐6th grade students are outlined. The classification of SEN tools of EL extracurricular work is proposed, didactic‐methodological and didactic‐psychological types of tools are specified and highlighted, particular tools of these types are considered for organizing EL extracurricular work of the 5‐6 grade students of GSEI in current conditions of mixed education; the exercise examples are provided. The authors see the prospects of further scientific research in working out the systemic methodology of organizing EL extracurricular work with the use of SEN in the 5th‐6th grades of secondary school, and in developing the appropriate methodological recommendations, sets of exercises and tasks.
