dc.description.abstractУ статті досліджено динаміку масштабування ІТ-компаній у глобальному та національному вимірах. Масштабування розглядається як складний процес, що поєднує фінансові ресурси, кадровий потенціал, організаційну культуру та цифрову трансформацію. Глобальні тенденції демонструють циклічність венчурного інвестування, зростання ролі штучного інтелекту та поширення гнучких методологій управління. Водночас український контекст виявляє специфіку адаптації бізнесу до кризових умов: війна, дефіцит кадрів, обмежений доступ до капіталу та потреба в швидкому переході на цифрові моделі. Незважаючи на виклики, ІТ-галузь України зберегла експортний потенціал, активно інтегрується у «Дія.City» та розширює цифрову інфраструктуру. Отже, масштабування постає не лише як фактор економічного зростання, але й як стратегія відновлення та інтеграції національного бізнесу у глобальну інноваційну екосистему.
dc.description.abstractThe article is devoted to the analysis of the dynamics and trends of scaling in the IT business, emphasizing its importance for the sustainable development of the modern digital economy. The relevance of the topic is explained by the fact that scaling is no longer limited to the growth of individual firms but has become a systemic factor shaping national competitiveness and global technological progress. The main purpose of the research is to identify the regularities of scaling processes in IT companies, to reveal the conditions under which growth transforms into long-term sustainability, and to compare the global patterns with the specific challenges and opportunities faced by Ukrainian enterprises during a period of crisis and transformation. Methodologically, the study relies on a combination of comparative analysis, synthesis of statistical and empirical data, as well as logical generalization. Such an approach allows the examination of scaling both as a quantitative expansion of resources and as a qualitative change in organizational structures, culture, and managerial practices. The research results highlight that the scaling of IT businesses is determined by a balance between financial stability, innovative potential, leadership, and the ability to adapt to volatile external environments. The global market demonstrates the increasing role of artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and flexible management methodologies as drivers of growth, while at the national level scaling is influenced by crisis conditions, workforce mobility, and the development of institutional frameworks such as digital ecosystems and regulatory regimes. The findings show that Ukrainian IT companies, despite significant external shocks, have preserved their export potential, strengthened their integration into international markets, and continued to invest in human capital and technological infrastructure. Practical outcomes of the study indicate that scaling in IT business should be approached not only as an economic expansion but also as a strategic tool for resilience, enabling companies to withstand crises, maintain competitiveness, and secure long-term positions in the global innovation landscape. The value of this article lies in its ability to provide business leaders and policymakers with a set of practical insights on how to structure growth strategies, manage risks, and build adaptive organizations capable of succeeding in both stable and highly uncertain environments.
