dc.description.abstractСтаття присвячена важливій проблемі сьогодення – оцінці екологічного стану річки Ромен у межах міста Ромни, голов-ної водної артерій басейну річки Сули, правої її притоки, притоки Дніпра ІІ порядку, шляхам її ревіталізації. Для річки Ромен характерні процеси заростання та замулення, річка міліє та перетворюється місцями на малопроточну водойму, тому окреслена проблема надзвичайно важлива. Мета дослідження – оцінити екологічний стан річки Ромен у межах міста Ромни та виявити шляхи її ревіталізації. Установлено, що екологічний стан річки Ромен у межах міста Ромни оцінений як «задовіль-ний», але близький до «незадовільного», що вказує на те, що в річці активно відбуваються негативні зміни, необхідне вжиття термінових заходів щодо призупинення руйнівних процесів, та як «незадовільний», щоби призупинити негативні зміни з річкою, терміново необхідно застосувати широкий комплекс коротко- та довготермінових заходів для призупинення деградації річки та заплави. Створено акт обстеження екологічного стану річки Ромен та лист-звернення до органів влади щодо покращення стану річки. З’ясовано, що основними екологічними проблемами річки Ромен є забруднення та погіршення якості річкової води, замулення, заростання та перетворення на малопроточну водойму. Для ревіталізації річки Ромен у межах міста Ромни запро-поновано такі етапи: вивчити історичну трансформацію русла річки; відновити природну течію, шляхом очищення русла від деревно-чагарникової рослинності, ліквідувати штучні водойми, які перебувають у незадовільному стані; переглянути доціль-ність роботи осушувально-меліоративної системи «Роменська»; виділити в натуру водоохоронну зону та прибережну захисну смугу, відновити їх до природного стану; дотримуватись оптимальних норм співвідношення розораних ділянок, заліснених, лучних тощо; визнати водоохоронну зону об’єктом природно-заповідного фонду з можливим рекреаційним використанням.
dc.description.abstractThe article is devoted to today’s important problem of assessing the ecological state of the Romain River within the city of Romny, the main water artery of the Sula River basin, its right tributary, the second-order tributary of the Dnieper, and ways of its revitalization. Processes of overgrowth and siltation are characteristic of the Romain River, the river thins and turns into a low-flow reservoir in places, therefore the outlined problem is extremely important. The purpose of the study: to assess the ecological condition of the Romain River within the city of Romny and to identify ways of its revitalization. It was established that the ecological condition of the Romain River within the city of Romny is assessed as “satisfactory”, but close to “unsatisfactory”, which indicates that negative changes are actively taking place in the river, it is necessary to apply urgent measures to stop the destructive processes and as “unsatisfactory”, in order to stop negative changes with the river, it is urgently necessary to apply a wide range of short- and long-term measures to stop the degradation of the river and the floodplain. An act of surveying the ecological condition of the Romain River and a letter of appeal to the authorities on improving the condition of the river have been created. It was found that the main environmental problems of the Romain River are pollution and deterioration of river water quality, siltation, overgrowth and transformation into a low-flow reservoir. The following stages are proposed for the revitalization of the Romain River within the city of Romny: study the historical transformation of the riverbed; to restore the natural flow by cleaning the riverbed from tree and shrub vegetation, eliminating artificial reservoirs that are in an unsatisfactory condition; review the expediency of the drainage and melioration system “Romenska”; to allocate in nature water protection zones and coastal protective strips and restore them to their natural state; compliance with the optimal ratio of plowed areas, wooded areas, meadows, etc.; to recognize the VZ as an object of the nature reserve fund with possible recreational use.
