The problem of modernizing the training of future managers under martial law, post-war state building and national education is updated. Training requires significant rethinking, focusing on anti-crisis management, resilience and psychosocial support. The importance of developing value orientations and relevant competencies of a future education manager is revealed. It is determined that anti-crisis and security management is a key aspect that should become cross-cutting in the training of future education managers. The competence of a future manager in risk management in the content modules of training is formed by developing skills in assessing and minimizing risks associated with physical security, cyber threats and the financial stability of the institution in conditions of instability. It is noted that mastering the skills of organizing psychological assistance for students, teachers and parents becomes important; The manager must be able to recognize signs of stress, trauma and involve specialists. In this context, emotional intelligence management involves the development of emotional resilience and the ability to constructively manage emotions in stressful situations. At the same time, supporting teachers is no less important; creating conditions for overcoming professional burnout and providing support to teachers who have themselves experienced traumatic events. In the post-war period, the focus of life will shift to restoration and modernization, so project management becomes important. The training of a future education manager should develop initiative and entrepreneurship (the willingness to take the initiative and seek unconventional solutions to ensure the work of the institution). These features of training are aimed at forming a manager-leader who is able not only to survive in a crisis, but also to be an agent of change and reconstruction of Ukrainian education. The formats for highlighting and making changes to the content of the training program for the head of an educational institution in the context of his future activities in the new realities of threats, risks and challenges from the aggressive northern neighbor in accordance with the concept of the «steel porcupine».
