dc.description.abstractРозвиток культурного туризму в Україні є важливим чинником зміцнення міжнародного іміджу країни, економічного зростання та збереження культурної спадщини. У статті проведено PEST-аналіз із використанням методу аналізу ієрархій (МАІ), що допоміг оцінити вплив політичних, економічних, соціальних та технологічних чинників. Виявлено, що ключову роль відіграють політична стабільність, державна підтримка та економічна ситуація. Соціальні та технологічні фактори мають менший, але також важливий вплив на попит і конкурентоспроможність галузі. Дослідження пропонує рекомендації для розвитку стратегій, спрямованих на зміцнення політичної стабільності, покращення економічного середовища, адаптацію до соціальних змін та впровадження інновацій. Це сприятиме посиленню позицій України на світовому туристичному ринку й залученню більшої кількості туристів.
dc.description.abstractThe development of cultural tourism in Ukraine is a significant determinant of strengthening the country’s international image, stimulating economic growth, and preserving cultural heritage. The article presents a comprehensive PEST analysis of cultural tourism development in Ukraine within a dynamic external environment, utilizing the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). It outlines the sequence of steps for structuring and evaluating external factors according to the PEST methodology, focusing on four main groups: political, economic, social, and technological. The study aims to identify and prioritize key factors influencing the sector’s development through hierarchical structuring and pairwise comparisons. The results indicate that political and economic factors have the greatest impact, with political stability, government support, and the economic situation recognized as crucial determinants of the industry’s success and sustainability. Political factors hold the highest priority, emphasizing their critical importance. Although social and technological factors have less influence, they remain essential for shaping supply and demand. Cultural preferences, digital technologies, and marketing innovations play a vital role in enhancing Ukraine's competitiveness and attractiveness as a tourist destination. Given the sensitivity of cultural tourism to changes in the external environment, the research underscores the importance of continuous monitoring and adaptation. The use of PEST analysis and AHP provides a structured framework for evaluating political, economic, social, and technological factors, allowing stakeholders to develop targeted strategies. These insights will help strengthen political stability, improve economic conditions, adapt to social changes, and integrate modern technologies, ultimately reinforcing Ukraine’s position in the global tourism market and attracting more visitors from abroad and within the country. The findings highlight the need for collaboration between public and private sectors to address emerging challenges effectively. A proactive approach to managing external risks will ensure the long-term sustainability and resilience of cultural tourism in Ukraine.
