dc.description.abstractThe study guide is aimed at helping students acquire socio-cultural translation competence by developing their skills in identifying and conveying socially marked elements in texts and the social variability of language related to people's social life. The study guide promotes a deeper understanding among students of translation as a socially determined process designed to reflect socially significant realities within the context of the two cultures of the translation language pair "English-Ukrainian." It contains exercises and tasks geared towards reinforcing the active material comprehension, as well as additional tasks for independent work that encourage students to refine the material they have studied. The study guide is intended for students studying for a master’s degree in Specialty B 11 Philology at the faculties of foreign languages of Higher Educational Institutions.
dc.description.abstractНавчальний посібник спрямований на набуття студентами соціокультурної перекладацької компетентності через розвиток їхніх навичок розрізняти та передавати соціально-марковані елементи в текстах та соціальну варіативність мови, пов’язану із суспільним життям людей. Посібник сприяє поглибленню у студентів розуміння перекладу як соціально-детермінованого процесу, покликаного відбивати соціально вагомі реалії в межах двох культур перекладацької пари мов «англійська-українська». Посібник містить вправи та завдання, спрямовані на закріплення активного матеріалу, та додаткові завдання для самостійної роботи, що націлені на доопрацювання студентами вивченого матеріалу. Посібник призначено для студентів магістратури факультетів іноземних мов ВНЗ.
