Анотація
У сучасних умовах геополітичної нестабільності венчурний капітал стає одним із провідних чинників розвитку інноваційного потенціалу України. Попри воєнні ризики та макроекономічну нестабільність, національна стартап-екосистема залишається динамічною та здатною залучати іноземні інвестиції. Венчурний капітал виконує не лише функцію фінансування, але й виступає інструментом інтеграції до світових ринків, сприяючи розвитку високотехнологічних компаній і створенню доданої вартості для економіки. Метою статті є комплексний аналіз стану венчурного капіталу та стартап-екосистеми України за перше півріччя 2025 року із використанням даних UVCA та міжнародних дослідницьких організацій. Особливу увагу приділено вивченню глобальних тенденцій, аналізу національних особливостей ринку та проблемі майже повної відсутності інституційних інвесторів у складі limited partners українських фондів. Підкреслюється також роль нових венчурних структур та інфраструктури підтримки, які сприяють комерціалізації інноваційних ідей і формуванню умов для інтеграції України у європейський інноваційний простір.
Venture capital has become one of the most important instruments for strengthening economic resilience and promoting innovative growth in emerging economies. For Ukraine, which is experiencing the combined pressure of war and the need for modernization, the study of the venture capital market and start-up ecosystem is particularly relevant. The aim of this article is to evaluate the current state and prospects of these phenomena and to identify their strategic role in shaping long-term development trajectories. The methodological framework of the study is based on system analysis, comparative assessment, and structural-functional approach. Quantitative methods are applied to examine investment dynamics and market structure, while qualitative analysis is used to interpret the specific features of the national environment and its interaction with global processes. Such a combination makes it possible to achieve a balanced view of both the numerical indicators and the contextual aspects of market transformation. The research demonstrates that the Ukrainian venture ecosystem shows resilience and adaptability, with new funds and start-ups expanding opportunities for innovative entrepreneurship despite adverse conditions. The results highlight that limited participation of institutional investors constrains access to long-term resources, while the activity of private initiatives and international cooperation stimulates the diversification of financing channels. At the same time, accelerators and incubators contribute to the commercialization of early-stage ideas, ensuring the inflow of projects into the market and strengthening its sustainability. The practical value of the article lies in the possibility of applying its conclusions to improve national innovation policy, to design effective instruments of state support, and to enhance cooperation with international partners. The findings may also be used by venture funds and entrepreneurs to refine strategies of capital attraction and market positioning. In a broader sense, the article underlines the importance of venture capital not only as a financial mechanism but also as a catalyst for technological progress and international economic integration.
