The purpose of the article is to specify the directions for integrating the components of Cheryl Porter's methodology into the process of vocal training in domestic institutions of higher education. Research methods: system‐analytical and comparative‐historical. The system‐analytical method was used to specify the content of Cheryl Porter's author's methodology and determine the directions of integration of its components into the process of vocal training of students of higher education in Ukraine; the comparative‐historical method was used to determine the vocal techniques developed historically in the countries of Europe and America and the place of the author's technique of Cheryl Porter among them. The effectiveness of training singers according to the Sheryl Potter method substantiates the possibility of using it not only for the development of individual methods by domestic vocal teachers at universities, but also for revising the vocal training programs in general. This methodology, which claims to be universal, significantly generalizes the most advanced achievements in vocal methodology and training of singers abroad and can be used in an adapted form in the professional training of specialists in Ukraine.Cheryl Porter's methodological developments can be used as a guide for beginner vocal teachers working with future pop singers or actors, as well as for independent work of students of higher educational institutions of specialties 025 Musical Art and 026 Performing Arts.
