dc.description.abstract | The article considers the curriculum as the most successful way of education rationing and designing, identifies the directions that the curriculum needs to orient education, in order it could comply with the current socio-economic realities. As an example the prospective use of the curriculum in the organization of choreographic higher education in Ukraine is given. At the present stage of social development the most important quality of the choreographer (performer, teacher) is universality. Therefore, the task of higher education institutions is the provision of a full spectrum of dance genres. Creation of wide-profile specialties is a priority for curriculum policy. The specialists of the wide profile will not disappear, in contrast to the narrow-profile specialists, when the realities of life are changed. The basis of the curriculum needs to be constant monitoring of emerging labor market fluctuations in demand for people with certain qualification. These calculations must be made considering the nearest perspectives and distant future. Next, it is necessary to determine the ways in which the curriculum needs to orient education, in order that it could comply with the current socio-economic realities: 1) the extension of the field of educational activities through the development of new spheres; 2) enhancing the role of the community at the expense of decreasing the role of state authorities in the educational process; 3) the course to mild governance, based on the respect for subordinates, that does not restrict their actions, an initiative that provides them with the opportunity to show independence, reveal their creative abilities; 4) expanding the boundaries of autonomy of educational institutions; 5) the intensification of academic mobility; 6) broadening the spectrum of teaching methods; 7) changes in the content of educational sectors, carried out in the rhythm of development of corresponding branches of social life; 8) timely addition of the theoretical basis with practical experience. It is stressed that curriculum needs to be the highest achievement in the field of organization of education, the result of constructive work aimed at obtaining maximum efficiency from the educational process. However, it is possible only under the condition of constant update of the curriculum; it suggests growth relative to the rate of cultural evolution. | uk_UA |
