dc.description.abstractМета роботи полягає у висвітленні результатів експериментальнодослідної роботи щодо перевірки ефективності психолого-педагогічних умов формування екологічної культури студентів медичних коледжів. У дослідженні взяли участь 231 студент чотирьох медичних коледжів України. Застосовано комплексний підхід до діагностики за п'ятьма критеріями (когнітивний, мотиваційно-ціннісний, діяльнісний, особистісно-рефлексивний, емоційновольовий) та чотирма рівнями сформованості екологічної культури. Методологічну основу становив двоступінчастий дизайн (камерний та основний етапи) з внутрішньогруповим порівнянням показників «до–після». Статистичний аналіз даних (критерій χ² Пірсона) підтвердив достовірність позитивних змін. Зокрема, частка студентів із високим рівнем екологічної культури зросла на 20,8%, а питома вага здобувачів із низьким рівнем зменшилась на 29,01%. Результати дослідження підтверджують доцільність впровадження розроблених психолого-педагогічних умов у освітній процес закладів фахової передвищої медичної освіти. В подальшій дослідницькій роботі перспективним напрямом є порівняльний аналіз практик формування екологічної культури в закладах освіти різних країн та імплементація європейських стандартів екологічної освіти у медичну підготовку
dc.description.abstractThe article presents the results of an experimental verification of the psychological and pedagogical conditions for the formation of ecological culture among students of medical colleges. The relevance of the study is driven by the need to prepare medical professionals capable of consciously addressing contemporary medicalecological challenges and ensuring environmental safety in their professional activities amid global changes. The purpose of the work is to present the outcomes of the experimental research verifying the effectiveness of psychological and pedagogical conditions for developing ecological culture in students of medical colleges. Validation of the proposed model was carried out through a sequential pedagogical experiment implemented in a two-stage design (pilot and main stages, 2022–2025). The study involved 231 students from four medical colleges in Ukraine (Zviahel, Kamianets-Podilskyi, Chernihiv, and Pohrebyshche). A comprehensive diagnostic approach was applied based on five criteria (cognitive, motivational-value, activitybased, personal-reflective, and emotional-volitional) and four levels of formation. The experimental intervention included the introduction of the special course “Ecology and Human Health”, integration of ecological content into professional disciplines (microbiology, medical ethics, life safety), and the use of active learning methods (case method, project-based activities, simulations). The assessment of the level of environmental culture formation was conducted comprehensively using five interrelated criteria: cognitive, motivational-axiological, activity-based, personal-reflective, and emotional-volitional, with differentiation into four levels (passive-inert, utilitarian-pragmatic, proactive self-actualization, and integrative-leadership). Valid empirical methods were employed, including questionnaire surveys, testing, analysis of activity products, situational and reflective tasks, and pedagogical observation. The methodological framework was based on a sequential (single-group) design with within-group pre–post comparison, which was ethically justified by the impossibility of denying part of the students access to high-quality education. Statistical analysis of the data (Pearson’s χ² criterion for homogeneity testing) confirmed the reliability of the positive changes (p < 0.05). In particular, the proportion of students with a high level of ecological culture increased by 20.8%, while the average formation score rose from 1.96 to 3.58. It has been demonstrated that the systematic integration of ecological knowledge into professional training significantly enhances the ecological culture of future medical professionals. The research findings substantiate the advisability of implementing the developed psychological and pedagogical conditions into the educational process of institutions of professional pre-higher medical education in order to train specialists prepared to address current environmental challenges. A promising direction for further research is the comparative analysis of practices for forming ecological culture in educational institutions across different countries and the implementation of European standards of environmental education in medical training.
