dc.description.abstractУ статті представлено історико‐педагогічний аспект проблеми організації учнівського самоврядування. На підставі використання сучасних наукових методів, що застосовуються в історико‐педагогічних дослідженнях, висвітлено актуальність та витоки обраної проблеми; з’ясовано ступінь її розробленості в науковій літературі; схарактеризовано особливості становлення та розвитку учнівського самоврядування в різні історичні періоди; розкрито потенціал учнівського самоврядування в самоорганізації, соціалізації особистості та формуванні колективу учнів. Акцентовано увагу на внеску видатних українських педагогів А. Макаренка і В. Сухомлинського в теорію та практику учнівського самоврядування як школи молодого лідерства.
dc.description.abstractThe relevance of the study is due to the fact that today Ukraine needs leaders of a new generation who successfully operate in a rapidly changing and risky social environment, respond adequately to acute challenges, independently make responsible decisions, organize individual work and cooperation in a team, predict its results. The Concept of the New Ukrainian School (2016) emphasizes that the younger generation must take responsibility for the present and the future. The article presents the historical and pedagogical aspect of the problem of organizing student self‐government. Based on the use of modern scientific methods used in historical‐pedagogical research, the relevance and origins of the chosen problem are highlighted; the degree of its development in the scientific literature is clarified; the peculiarities of the formation and development of student self‐ government in different historical periods are characterized; the potential of student self‐government in self‐organization, socialization of the individual and formation of the student team is revealed. Attention is focused on the contribution of outstanding Ukrainian teachers Anton Makarenko and Vasyl Sukhomlynskyi to the theory and practice of student self‐government as a school of young leadership. It has been confirmed that A. Makarenko in the conditions of the Soviet discourse of the 20s and 30s of the 20th century. created and implemented a model of student self‐government as a managed democracy. Recognizing the great role of student self‐government in the development of organizational and leadership qualities of pupils, V. Sukhomlynskyi warned against excessive intervention of the team in the child's personal life. The conducted research confirmed that the level of development of student self‐ government is an indicator of student independence in the educational environment,contributes to the formation of a socially active personality, and the establishment of civic qualities of a young person. Prospects for the further development of the selected problem are to study the possibilities of using the positive historical experience of the organization of student self‐government as a school of young leadership in today's conditions for the purpose of building civil society.
