Анотація
Статтю присвячено актуальній проблемі STEAM-освіти в Україні та міждисциплінарному підходу до вивчення природничо-математичних дисциплін.Мета статті полягає в розкритті можливостей інтеграції природничих дисциплін в освітній процес під кутом практичного STEAM-орієнтованого підходу.У викладі основного матеріалу визначено місце STEAM-освіти у формуванні компетентності у природничих науках у здобувачів освіти, описано головні переваги використання STEAM-освіти у навчанні; розглянуто проєктний метод як найперспективніший засіб реалізації STEAM-освіти у сучасній школі; запропоновано тему “Дослідження вірусів” для створення STEAM-проєктів з метою формування в учнів компетентностей у природничих науках; наведено приклади використання STEAMпроєктів у початковій школі «Обережно – вірус», у базовій школі «Вір у Світ», у старшій школі «Сovid-19 – виклик для всього світу»; запропоновано використання розроблених STEAM-проєктів на уроках природничого циклу та факультативних заняттях; наведено результати експериментальної проєктної діяльності учнів в Угринівському ліцеї Угринівської сільської ради Івано-Франківської області; отримано висновок, що впровадження елементів STEAM-освіти в освітній процес сприяє формуванню основних компетентностей не тільки у галузі природничих наук, а й цифрової компетентності. В перспективі подальших досліджень є розробка нових навчальних проєктів та їх впровадження в освітній процес.
The article is devoted to the actual problem of STEAM-education in Ukraine and the interdisciplinary approach to the study of natural sciences and mathematics. Such integration allows to modernize the content of education, educational material and methodological principles of STEM training. STEM combines disciplines based on interdisciplinary practiceoriented approaches for integrated study of natural sciences and mathematics into a single educational prototype, which is based on the idea of applying knowledge in practice. The purpose of the article is revealing possibilities of integrating science education into the learning process through a practical STEAM-oriented approach. In the article, the place of STEAM-education in the formation of students’ competence in natural sciences is determined. The main advantages of using STEAM-education are described. The project method is considered as the most perspective way of realization of STEAMeducation in modern school. The topic “Virus research” was proposed for the creation of STEAM-projects in order to form students' competencies in natural sciences. There are given a few practical examples for using STEAM-projects: in the primary school «Beware of the virus», in the primary school «Believe in the World», in the secondary school «Covid-19 is a challenge for the whole world». The use of the developed STEAM-projects at lessons of a natural cycle and optional employment is offered. The results of experimental work of project activities of students in Uhryniv lyceum of Uhryniv village council of Ivano-Frankivsk region are given. There is concluded that the introduction of elements of STEAM-education in the educational process contributes to the formation of basic competencies not only in the field of natural sciences, but also digital competence which confirms the results of the approbation. STEAM technology is not only the best acquisition of knowledge, but also develops in students the ability to experiment and critical thinking, research and analytical work. The authors of the article are intending to expand the educational projects with the aim of conducting further research.
