Анотація
У статті досліджується роль неформальної освіти у формуванні трансверсальних компетентностей як ключового чинника професійного та особистісного розвитку. Проведено аналіз сучасних європейських ініціатив та практик, що демонструють ефективність використання неформального навчання для розвитку навичок, необхідних в умовах глобалізованого світу. Особливу увагу приділено потенціалу адаптації цих практик до української системи освіти. Основні результати дослідження підкреслюють значущість інтеграції інноваційних підходів до навчання протягом життя для забезпечення конкурентоспроможності фахівців на ринку праці.
The article is devoted to the analysis of the role of non-formal education in the formation of transversal competences, which are key ones to successful adaptation and activity in the conditions of modern society and the global labour market. The theoretical basis of transversal competences, their structure, and importance for professional and personal development are considered. Particular attention is paid to effective European practices, such as the Erasmus+, Youthpass and TRANSVAL-EU programmes, which demonstrate innovative approaches to the integration of formal and non-formal learning. The author highlights the potential of non-formal education in the development of critical thinking, communication skills, creativity, intercultural understanding and adaptability. The article emphasizes the importance of recognizing and validating the results of non-formal learning as part of an educational trajectory. The analysis shows that non-formal education can not only compensate for the gaps in formal education, but also strengthen the practical orientation of training. The article also focuses on an interdisciplinary approach to studying the role of non- formal education in the development of transversal competences, integrating educational, social and economic aspects. The analysis shows that the effectiveness of programmes and initiatives in this area largely depends on cooperation between government agencies, educational institutions and employers. This approach allows not only to expand access to quality training, but also to ensure that the skills acquired are linked to the real needs of the labour market. In the future, these factors may become the basis for creating sustainable models of competence development that will meet the challenges of modern society and contribute to the sustainable development of educational systems. The article also presents the prospects for adapting European approaches to the Ukrainian non-formal education system. In particular, the author substantiates the need to introduce mobility, lifelong learning tools, and create conditions for the integration of transversal competencies into the process of professional training. The main conclusions confirm that innovative approaches to the organisation of non-formal education can ensure the quality development of Ukraine's educational system and increase its relevance to modern socio-economic challenges.
