dc.description.abstractУ статті проаналізовано сучасні тенденції та підходи до інвестування в людський капітал в Україні. Розглянуто основні складові людського капіталу – освіта, здоров'я, культурний та соціально-психологічний розвиток. Зазначено, що незважаючи на поступове зростання інвестицій в освіту та охорону здоров'я в попередні роки, у 2023 році спостерігається їх зниження через військові дії, економічну кризу та зміну бюджетних пріоритетів. Водночас фінансування культурного та соціально-психологічного розвитку знижується вже кілька років поспіль. Проаналізовано стан професійного навчання безробітних за підтримки Державної служби зайнятості. Відзначено загальне скорочення кількості осіб, охоплених таким навчанням, проте для окремих регіонів характерно зростання. Наголошено, що подальший розвиток людського капіталу є стратегічно важливим завданням для забезпечення конкурентоспроможності української економіки та суспільства.
dc.description.abstractThe article analyzes current trends and approaches to investing in human capital in Ukraine. The main components of human capital are considered – education, health, cultural and socio-psychological development. It is noted that despite the gradual increase in investments in education and health care in previous years, there has been a decrease in 2023 due to hostilities, economic crisis and changes in budget priorities. At the same time, funding for cultural and socio-psychological development has been declining for several years in a row. The state of vocational training for the unemployed with the support of the State Employment Service is analyzed. A general reduction in the number of people covered by such training is noted, but for some regions, growth is characteristic. The level of employment after vocational training in 2023 was 83%. This is 2% more than in 2022. Such a high level of employment indicates that vocational training is an effective tool for increasing the competitiveness of the unemployed in the labor market. It is emphasized that the further development of human capital is a strategically important task for ensuring the competitiveness of the Ukrainian economy and society. Investing in human capital means spending and efforts aimed at developing and improving employee qualifications. This may include training, skills development, leadership development, and providing a supportive work environment. Human capital is an integral part of economic growth. People with high levels of education and qualifications are able to create more value, leading to increased production and income. Investments in human capital also help raise living standards by providing people with better employment and earnings opportunities. Ukraine should increase public funding for education and encourage businesses to invest in developing their employees. Such measures will allow citizens and employees of enterprises to improve their qualifications or master new skills and abilities. This will help the country overcome current challenges and get on the path of sustainable economic growth.
