dc.description.abstractУ статті розглянуто міжпредметну інтеграцію навчальних змістів, що забезпечує розвиток критичного мислення здобувачів освіти. Мета дослідження полягає в обґрунтуванні теоретичних засад розвитку критичного мислення учнів шляхом інтеграції німецької мови та біології у межах моделі Content and Language Integrated Learning. Для досягнення мети застосовано методи: аналізу, педагогічне спостереження, елементи експериментального навчання, узагальнення та систематизація досвіду інтегрованого викладання. В результаті визначено дидактичні можливості міжпредметного навчання для формування критичного мислення.
dc.description.abstractThe current educational context encourages teachers to implement innovative methodologies that ensure the integration of subject content, development of communicative skills, and critical thinking. The purpose of this study is to substantiate the theoretical and methodological foundations for developing students’ critical thinking through the integration of the German language and biology within the framework of the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) model. To achieve this goal, the following methods were used: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical observation, elements of experimental teaching, and generalization and systematization of the experience of integrated instruction. As a result of the study, the didactic possibilities of interdisciplinary learning for the formation of critical thinking were identified, and examples of tasks combining biological content with language communication were developed. The materials of this study can be used by foreign language and biology teachers for preparing integrated lessons, projects, and extracurricular student activities. The analysis of the problem allows concluding that CLIL-based integrated learning promotes not only effective acquisition of language and subject knowledge but also the development of students’ critical thinking, communicative, and research skills. Future research may focus on studying the impact of the CLIL model on the formation of critical thinking and key competencies of students within the framework of the New Ukrainian School reform.
