dc.description.abstractУ статті висвітлено результати аналізу сфери логопедичних послуг в Україні та потенціалу закладів вищої освіти у підготовці кадрів для забезпечення доступної та ефективної системи підтримки осіб із порушеннями мовлення. Встановлено, що в Україні доступ до логопедичної допомоги забезпечує мережа державних надавачів, які функціонують у системах освіти, охорони здоров’я та соціального захисту. З’ясовано, що зростання чисельності осіб з порушеннями мовлення та неспроможність повною мірою забезпечити потребу в логопедичній допомозі, яка зростає в умовах впровадження інклюзивної освіти та реабілітації, активізувала розвиток недержавних надавачів логопедичних послуг та професії терапевта мови і мовлення. Досліджено, що розвиток відповідних послуг стримується відсутністю достатньої кількості кваліфікованих кадрів. Аналіз динаміки впровадження освітніх програм з логопедії на рівні бакалаврату та магістратури в Україні вказує на загальну позитивну тенденцію збільшення їх кількості, що створює перспективи для розв’язання проблеми дефіциту фахівців у сфері логопедії.
dc.description.abstractQuality and accessible speech therapy services play a crucial role in providing assistance to children and individuals with speech disorders, especially when the prevalence of such issues increases due to brain injuries and traumatic experiences. Understanding the labor market needs in speech therapy services and the ability of higher education institutions to meet them is crucial for establishing a robust support system for individuals with speech disorders. This article aimed to analyze the sphere of speech therapy services in Ukraine and the potential of higher education institutions in training professionals to establish an accessible and effective support system for individuals with speech disorders. The study utilized a desk research method to gather and analyze information. It was found that in Ukraine, access to speech therapy assistance is provided by a network of state providers operating within education, healthcare, and social protection systems. The research revealed an increase in the number of individuals with speech disorders and the inability to fully meet the growing demand for speech therapy, particularly in the context of inclusive education and rehabilitation. This trend has spurred the development of non‐state providers of speech therapy services and the profession of speech and language therapist. The study demonstrated that the growth of relevant services is hindered by the insufficient number of qualified professionals. The analysis of the implementation dynamics of educational programs in speech therapy at the bachelor's and master's levels in Ukraine indicates an overall positive trend in their increase, offering prospects for addressing the shortage of specialists in the field of speech therapy. The prospects for further research in the field of speech therapy in Ukraine include a comprehensive analysis of the development of speech therapy services, focusing on the alignment of educational programs with labor market requirements and assessing the quality of speech therapy services provided by various providers. Additional research efforts may be directed towards identifying key challenges and opportunities in this field, taking into account consumer trends and needs. The effectiveness of educational programs in preparing speech therapists and their readiness for the challenges of the modern labor market is also essential to investigate.
