Анотація
Главная миссия университетского образования традиционно состоит в решении интеллектуально-культурных задач общества. Современный университет является центром образования, науки и трансфера знаний. Обсуждается возможность его трансформации в современный научно-образовательно-промышленный комплекс с академическим ядром и междисциплинарной проектно-ориентированной периферией. Показана целесообразность создания в университете сетевых кафедр УНИТВИН/ЮНЕСКО, которые открыты для широкого участия в их программах других учреждений высшего образования и науки, разнообразных неправительственных организаций всех стран-членов ЮНЕСКО.
Modern university education is the most important part of Education for a Sustainable Development (ESD). Intellectual and cultural problems which are solved by university education, are formulated long ago. According to Henri Bergson (The Nobel Prize in Literature, 1927), a main goal of university education is to relieve our thinking of automatism, to exempt it from forms and formulas, to restore in it free movement of thought. The substantiation of ways of university education development as a philosophical and pedagogical problem was considered still by S. Hessen (1887─1950) in the work «Principles of pedagogics. Introduction to applied philosophy» (1923). Today the university is in crisis. The exit from it is possible through transition to a new, innovative paradigm of education. We suggest to realize the pilot project on transformation of the university structure, which is traditional for Ukraine, to a modern scientific, educational and industrial complex with the academic kernel and the interdisciplinary project-oriented periphery. This periphery has to include two components: profession-oriented modules (POM) and project-innovative fields (PIF). The exit in PIF means implementation of new university mission – a transfer of knowledge. The transfer of knowledge is included by two main processes: commercialization of research results and realization of educational programs. It becomes possible only under a condition if at university the traditional directions of university activity – researches and education are realized at the highest level. The important place in this complex is allocated for the UNITWIN/UNESCO Network Chairs which are open for broad participation in their programs of other institutions of higher education and science, various non-governmental organizations of all member countries of UNESCO. Such chairs can effectively use new ideas and modern educational technologies. It will allow to carry out preparation of new generation of the professionals capable in a complex to combine research, design and enterprise activity.
