Анотація
У статті здійснено комплексний аналіз можливостей і недоліків дистанційного навчання у підготовці майбутніх фізичних терапевтів в умовах сучасних трансформацій української системи вищої освіти. Показано, що пандемія COVID-19 та повномасштабна війна стали факторами стрімкої цифровізації освітнього процесу, що зумовило переорієнтацію змісту й форм навчання. Проаналізовано результати вітчизняних і міжнародних досліджень, які свідчать про ефективність дистанційного формату для формування теоретичних знань і клінічного мислення, але недоліки у формуванні практичних навичок і клінічної комунікації. Обґрунтовано необхідність змішаних моделей (blended learning), що забезпечують баланс між віртуальними та очними компонентами.
The article presents a comprehensive analysis of the opportunities and limitations of distance learning in the education of future physical therapists in Ukrainian higher education institutions. The relevance of the topic is explained by the impact of the COVID- 19 pandemic and the ongoing war, which significantly transformed the structure and content of medical and rehabilitation education. The aim of the study is to determine which professional competencies of physical therapists can be effectively developed through online learning and which require direct face-to-face interaction. The methodology includes analysis of Ukrainian and international research, regulatory documents, and the practical experience of universities. The results demonstrate that distance learning effectively supports theoretical training and clinical reasoning, expands access to educational materials, and ensures continuity of education in crisis conditions. However, it is insufficient for developing manual skills, clinical communication, and professional identity. The study highlights the importance of blended learning models combining online theoretical modules with in-person laboratory sessions and clinical placements. The findings have practical significance for optimizing curricula in physical therapy programs and identifying future research directions related to virtual simulations, tele-rehabilitation platforms, and assessment tools for clinical competencies in remote settings.
