Анотація
За допомогою електронних каталогів Національної бібліотеки України імені В. І. Вернадського виявлено масив дисертаційних робіт з туризму і рекреації в Україні (841 дисертація за 1992-2000 рр.). Узагальнено емпіричний матеріал з досліджуваної теми шляхом створення реєстру дисертацій з туризму і рекреації в Україні за 1992-2000 рр. Визначено місце дисертацій з туризму і рекреації у загальному дисертаційному потоці України. Розкрито динаміку й трансформацію структури профільних дисертацій за галузями науки та окремими науковими спеціальностями. Зокрема, проаналізовано тематичний спектр 105 географічних дисертаційних робіт з туризму і рекреації. Окреслено перспективні напрями розвитку наукового пошуку.
Dissertation research is an essential component of scientific knowledge about tourism. Obtaining a scientific degree is explained by the natural desire of researchers to show their creative abilities. Simultaneously, the results of dissertation research are an essential factor in developing tourism and resorts in Ukraine, increasing the competitiveness of the national tourism product. The purpose of the work is to create a holistic view of the development of dissertation research of tourism and recreation in Ukraine during the years of independence, revealing the dynamics and structure of this process. The research object is to profile dissertations and their abstracts, and the subject − trends and factors in the development of scientific research in the field of tourism and recreation, the boundaries and main proportions of the subject field of research, priority areas for further development. The presentation logic for the material involves the consistent disclosure of: 1. Analysis of publications on research issues. 2. The place of dissertations on tourism and recreation in the general dissertation flow of Ukraine. 3. The dynamics of the development of dissertation research in tourism and recreation in Ukraine. 4. Expansion of boundaries and transformation of the structure of the subject field of the scientific field. 5. Outlining the priority areas of further scientific research The main methodological approaches to achieve the goal were chosen system-structural, intersectoral, chronological, and chorological. The empirical basis of the study was to profile dissertations for the degree of candidate and doctor of sciences and their abstracts. The source of initial information was the databases of the National Library of Ukraine named after V.I. Vernadsky. Primary information is obtained from the electronic catalogs of the library by selecting abstracts of dissertations by the presence in the title and keywords of the terms (in all cases) "tourism," "tourist," "tourist," "tourist," "recreation," "recreational." With the help of electronic catalogs of the National Library of Ukraine named after V.I. Vernadsky revealed various dissertations on tourism and recreation in Ukraine (841 dissertations for 1992-2000). During 1992-2020, the subject-thematic range of research has significantly expanded. Previously, the subject field of research was developed exclusively by representatives of economic, geographical sciences, and architecture researchers. Now the de facto representatives of 20 branches of science contribute to developing the science of tourism and recreation. The leaders of scientific research are representatives of economic (49.7% of the total profile dissertation flow), pedagogical (12.7%), and geographical (12.5%) sciences. At the same time, the structure of scientific research needs to be improved in order to meet social needs better.
