Анотація
У статті розглянуто роль інформаційних технологій у підготовці майбутніх фахівців морського профілю. Наголошено на доцільності використання в освітньому процесі технічних засобів навчання з урахуванням набутого історико-педагогічного досвіду. Констатовано, що в 80-ті роки ХХ століття склалися умови для прийняття урядової постанови «Про заходи по забезпеченню комп’ютерної грамотності учнів середніх навчальних закладів і широкого впровадження електронно-обчислювальної техніки в навчальний процес» (1985 р.) та Концепції інформатизації освіти (1988 р.), які взято на озброєння закладами морської освіти України.
The article considers the role of information technologies and their importance in future maritime professionals training. The emphasis is placed on the appropriate use in the educational process of technical teaching aids that create better conditions for the perception, assimilation and reproduction of the obtained information. The minutes of pedagogical council meetings, as well as subject and cycle commissions of Kherson Maritime School named after Lieutenant Schmidt are considered and it is analyzed how information technologies were used in the 80s of the 20th century in maritime education of Ukraine. Having studied the materials of the State Archives of Kherson region, we have data on the use of various technical teaching aids (slides and movies, projection equipment, control and training machines, computers, programmable tools, information and communication technologies, etc.) at the institution. It was analyzed that as a result of the development and dissemination of new information technologies the conditions for the adoption of the Concept of Informatization of Education (1988) were created, the definition of such notions as “informatization of society” and “informatization of education” was initiated, and the term “new information technology” (NIT) was introduced. Thus, the 1980s became a turning point, when it was recognized at maritime education institutions of Ukraine that the use of information technologies makes a significant contribution into the education quality and opens wide opportunities in the further educational process. Necessary educational-methodological and material-technical support was created, the related professionals were trained, and the corresponding normative legal documents were developed. The experience related to the use of information technologies in maritime education institutions of Ukraine in the period under consideration requires a thorough study in further scientific explorations.
