dc.description.abstractУ статті розглянуто сучасні тенденції розвитку магістерських програм з комп’ютерних наук та медицини у міждисциплінарному контексті. Увагу зосереджено на трансформації освітніх підходів до викликів ХХІ ст., зокрема потреби в інтеграції знань з різних галузей. Показано, як міждисциплінарність сприяє підготовці фахівців нового покоління, здатних працювати в мультидисциплінарних командах і виконувати інноваційні проєкти. Проаналізовано успішні приклади реалізації міждисциплінарних магістерських програм університетів США з комп’ютерних наук та медицини. Підкреслено важливість інклюзивності, гнучкості освітніх траєкторій і дотримання академічних стандартів.
dc.description.abstractThe article examines current trends in the development of Master’s programs in computer sciences and medicine within an interdisciplinary context. It focuses on the transformation of educational approaches in response to the challenges of the 21st century, particularly the need for integrating knowledge across various fields. The study highlights how interdisciplinarity contributes to the training of a new generation of professionals capable of working in multidisciplinary teams and carrying out innovative projects. The article emphasizes the importance of inclusivity, flexibility in educational pathways, and adherence to academic standards. The analysis of interdisciplinary Master’s programs at leading universities in the United States demonstrates a significant transformation of the traditional higher education system under the influence of societal challenges, scientific and technological progress, and the urgent need to integrate medicine, computer science, and engineering. The launch of the first interdisciplinary program in medicine and computer sciences in the U.S. during the 1970s marked a crucial step in shaping the modern educational and research landscape. This program laid the foundation for the development of innovative approaches in medical education and translational science. It emphasized close collaboration among clinical practice, engineering solutions, and computer science. Modern interdisciplinary programs in the 21st century are characterized by their flexibility, dynamism, and focus on training specialists capable of working at the intersection of several high-tech fields. These programs successfully combine classical scientific knowledge with practical skills in artificial intelligence, clinical data analysis, and the management of large-scale datasets. A key feature of such programs is the emphasis on real-world problem solving, collaborative research, and technological innovation, preparing graduates for leadership roles in rapidly evolving biomedical environments. The perspectives for future research lie in assessing the impact of interdisciplinary Master’s programs on the development of innovations in the medical field. Further attention should also be given to the role of artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, and engineering in transforming medical education, optimizing patient care, and advancing healthcare technologies.
