dc.description.abstractУ статті досліджується характер впливу соціального капіталу на забезпечення інклюзивного економічного розвитку в Україні на мікро- та макрорівнях, у тому числі внаслідок цифровізації економіки. У ході дослідження виявлена взаємозалежність між: 1) рівнем загальної довіри та структурою підприємництва, рівнем капіталізації й соціалізації бізнесу; рівнем інституційної довіри й рівнем корупції; 2) характером, рівнем поширення соціальних цінностей та ВВП на душу населення, динамікою створення суб’єктів підприємницької діяльності, структурою витрат державного бюджету; 3) масштабом, щільністю, якістю соціальних мереж та рівнем конкурентної спроможності національної економіки тощо. Виявлено недовикористання економічного потенціалу як горизонтального, так і вертикального соціальних капіталів в умовах цифрової економіки.
dc.description.abstractIn today’s context, social capital is increasingly recognized as a crucial resource for economic growth alongside physical and human capital, a fact further reinforced by Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. At the same time, digitalization and the imperative of inclusive development are reshaping its nature, creating both opportunities for strengthening and risks of inequality, polarization, and fragmentation. The purpose of this article is to identify the mechanisms through which social capital influences inclusive economic development in Ukraine at micro- and macro-levels, with particular attention to the effects of digital transformation. The research relies on a behavioral approach (to uncover links between social norms, patterns of trust, and economic outcomes), comparative analysis (to examine the evolution of social capital globally and its national specificities in Ukraine), structural-functional analysis (to study the composition and functions of this institution), dialectical reasoning (to address theoretical and practical aspects of its dynamics), and econometric methods (to measure development trajectories and impacts). The study investigates causal relations between the state of social capital and shifts in macroeconomic indicators, entrepreneurship, and innovation activity. Using R. Inglehart’s civilization maps, it highlights correlations between prevailing social values – self-expression versus survival – and GDP per capita. Based on the Global Innovation Index and Prosperity Index, it is demonstrated that insufficient use of innovation potential in Central and Eastern Europe, including Ukraine, results from low levels of tolerance, solidarity, and trust. Strengthening the economic return of social norms as a component of social capital requires embedding productive values and limiting destructive ones through education, media, and state signaling policies that promote responsibility, inclusiveness, cooperation, and mutual support. Each social norm generates behavioral patterns of economic agents and thus produces consequences for national development.
