dc.description.abstractМедичний туризм отримує все більше визнання у світі й в Україні. Це відбувається на тлі глобальної популяризації здорового способу життя, а також одночасного погіршення стану здоров’я сучасної людини та підвищення рівня її добробуту. У роботі виявлені та докладно описані передумови та чинники розвитку медичного туризму у світі та в Україні. Зокрема, у якості визначального чинника виділяється розвиток інформаційних технологій, які суттєво полегшили організацію та документальне оформлення процесу отримання послуг у закордонних медичних закладах. Уточнено термінологію медичного туризму, розкриті характерні риси, різновиди, особливості організації та географія подорожей з метою оздоровлення та лікування. Виявлено, що основними чинниками активного розвитку в’їзного медичного туризму в Україні є низькі ціни, достатній рівень якості і відсутність черг на популярні процедури. Також розкриті основні обмеження та виклики, з якими стикається галузь медичного туризму через глобальне поширення короновірусної інфекції.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractHealthy ways of living, mentally and physically happy are the ground of the system of values of modern people. The health tourism gets a great popularity nowadays. More and more tourists around the world want to combine at the same time vacation and take care of their health: get preventive medical intervention, diagnostic examination, cosmetic procedure or elective surgery. There are many terms to describe this trend; it is suggested to use the term medical clinical tourism as the migration of tourists within the country or abroad with the aim of getting of medical services. The work identifies and describes in detail the prerequisites and factors of the development of medical tourism in the world and in Ukraine. In particular, the information technologies progress is highlighted as a determining factor, which has significantly facilitated the process of organizing and documenting the process of receiving services in foreign medical institutions. The characteristic features, categories, organization and geography of travels for the purpose of recovery and treatment are revealed. Recently, more and more foreigners, mostly from Europe, visit Ukraine for medical services. First of all, they are attracted by reasonable prices, a sufficient level of service quality and the lack of queues for popular procedures. Ophthalmic and dental procedures, reproductive medicine are especially popular. Among the main problems of medical tourism in Ukraine: outdated material and technical base of sanatoriums and medical institutions, insufficient level and culture of service; lack of certification, international accreditation and clinics liability insurance. As promising areas for the development of medical tourism in Ukraine are identified: the implantation of innovative treatment and rehabilitation methods; the improvement of legal support and regulatory framework for cooperation with foreign clients in state-owned medical institutions and the intensification of promotion of services of Ukrainian medical and resort institutions on the international, in particular European, market.uk_UA
