dc.description.abstractСтаття присвячена проблемам організації самостійної роботи у вищій школі. Проаналізовано погляди науковців Великобританії на сутність, значення самостійної роботи в підготовці майбутнього фахівця у ВНЗ та умов її ефективності. Простежено вплив методологічних засад когнітивного підходу, гуманістичної психології та концепції «Навчання, спрямованого на студента» на організацію та здійснення самостійної роботи у вищій школі. Висвітлено теоретичні засади розуміння сутності «самостійна робота» британськими вченими та сучасні дослідження проблеми організації самостійної роботи у ВНЗ Великобританії, які можуть бути перспективними для використання у практиці вищої освіти України.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractThis article is devoted to the problems of independent work in high school. The views of British scientists are analyzed on the value of self-study work in preparation of future specialist in the universities and conditions of its efficiency. The impact of methodological principles of cognitive approach, humanistic psychology and the concept «training aimed at student» were traced on the organization and implementation of self-study in high school. The article deals with the theoretical foundations of understanding the essence of «self-study» of the British scientists and current research problems of self-study in UK universities, which may be promising for use in the practice of higher education in Ukraine. In the articles of British scientists independent work is considered as the basis of formation and development of personality with a creative individuality, high level of knowledge, general and professional culture. In the UK, current research problems of independent work carried out with the cognitive approach that emphasizes the active nature of the learning process. This learning process is characterized by: the position of the student as an active subject of study, the development of his self-organization abilities, the process of learning organization, acquiring skills through interaction , dialogue, simulations, choice, free exchange of ideas, focusing on mutual, emphasis on self-learning achievements. The analysis of educational and methodological literature suggests that activation of students’ independent work search activity is not determined at all, and finding ways to address them, not only the assimilation of the results of scientific knowledge, knowledge systems, but also mastering the very process of obtaining these results and developing their creative abilities. As a result of independent work the student learns to organize not only his learning process appropriately but also his intellectual activity that provides efficient perception, comprehension, memory, generalization of training material, forming a willingness to search for a solution. Under such circumstances, the students develop self-awareness, self-discipline, personal responsibility, self-improvement, self-knowledge, self-realization. Thus, the teacher can no longer influence the formation of the future specialist.uk_UA
