Анотація
У статті розглянуто питання використання елементів краєзнавчих студій під час вивчення іноземної мови в рамках формування іншомовної комунікативної компетентності на фоні становлення багатонаціонального глобального відкритого та мобільного суспільства. Водночас важливим чинником формування іншомовної комунікативної компетенції є створення ефективної системи управління застосування/використання елементів краєзнавчих студій. Відзначено, що ефективність формування іншомовної комунікативної компетентності здобувачів освіти та/або молодих спеціалістів зростає під час додаткових комунікацій поза межами аудиторії з місцевими носіями мови в її «природному середовищі». Такі освітні та/або робочі комунікації відбуваються у мультинаціональному, мультирелігійному,мультикультурному середовищі, де поєднання різних мов, культур, звичаїв формує новий соціокультурний ландшафт глобального суспільства. Вказане відбувається у нових регіональних освітніх центрах, де набуває освіту нова еліта, яка вже зовсім інакше сприймає регіональні комунікації на рівні країн‐сусідів, що дає новий поштовх для спільного вирішення регіональних/місцевих проблем. У цьому контексті підтверджена важливість та ефективність активного використання можливостей краєзнавчих студій в освітньому процесі під час вивчення іноземних мов як на фізичному, так і на віртуальному (дистанційному) рівнях навчання у поєднанні з системою ефективного управління застосуванням/використанням елементів краєзнавчих студій.
The article examines the issue of using elements of region studies when learning a foreign language as part of the formation of foreign language communicative competence against the background of the formation of a multinational, global, open, and mobile society. At the same time, an important factor in the formation of foreign language communicative competence is the creation of an effective management system for the application and use of elements of regional studies. The analysis of modern conceptual approaches to foreign language learning issues using the socio‐cultural and everyday environment of the host country showed that the effectiveness of the formation of foreign language communicative competence in education seekers and young specialists studying a foreign language increases when they continue to study it outside educational institutions (study rooms) and places of work because communication with local speakers in its "natural environment" only contributes to this. It was also noted that the current stage of society's development is distinguished by the fact that educational or work communications take place in multinational, multi‐ religious, and multicultural teams, where the combination of different languages, cultures, and customs forms a new socio‐cultural landscape of global society. At the same time, all this is happening against the background of the emergence of new regional educational centers, where a new elite is being educated that carries out regional communications between neighboring countries in a completely different way and is ready to jointly solve problems on a global level. Thus, staying (studying and working) in another country contributes to the interconnection and mutual influence of the national culture, customs, and lifestyle of the country and the host country. Thanks to this, the formation of new modern elements of local region studies takes on a new sense. This is precisely related to the wide use of the latest digital, virtual, and information and communication technologies in education, which transform the methods, techniques, mechanisms, and tools of learning a foreign language, thereby ensuring a new level of foreign language communicative competence. The importance and effectiveness of the active use of regional studies opportunities in the educational process during the study of foreign languages at both the physical and virtual (distance) levels of education in combination with a system of effective management of the application and use of elements of regional studies have been confirmed.
