dc.description.abstractУ розвідці представлено узагальнення підходів представників української інтелігенції ХІХ – початку ХХ століття до розуміння сутності і значення національно-патріотичного виховання молодого покоління. Наголошено на винятковому впливі творчості Г. Сковороди і Т. Шевченка на розроблення теоретичних засад досліджуваного феномену та становлення українського виховного ідеалу. Схарактеризовано погляди видатних педагогів, громадських і освітніх діячів досліджуваного періоду на принципи й засоби національно-патріотичного виховання. Актуалізовано значущість творчого доробку попередників для утвердження національно-культурної ідентичності та формування громадянської свідомості молодого покоління в умовах викликів і ризиків сучасності.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractThe study presents the dynamics of the views of prominent teachers, public figures and educators of the XIX – early XX century on the essence, purpose and means of the national-patriotic education of the younger generation. With the help of textual analysis, the source base and historiographical work on the selected problem were processed. Using the method of retrospective analysis, an exceptional influence on the formation of the theoretical foundations of the Ukrainian educational ideal of G. Skovoroda and T. Shevchenko, who were significant personalities for the national intelligentsia, the embodiment of the titanic desire for creative self-realization, is revealed. Using the method of generalizing approaches of the Ukrainian intelligentsia, the understanding of the essence and significance of the national-patriotic education of the younger generation is presented. Based on the diachronic analysis of the views of prominent teachers, public figures and educators of the XIX – early XX century, the vision of the means and methods of national-patriotic education is characterized. It is established that the representatives of the Ukrainian pedagogical thought of the studied period singled out the means of national-patriotic education, recognized as effective at the present stage: Ukrainian school (of primary, secondary and higher level), Ukrainian language of educational process, deepening Ukrainian studies, extracurricular work, preschool and extracurricular education, including excursions, Ukrainian studies and local lore groups, ceremonial events and literary and musical holidays dedicated to significant events and famous Ukrainian public and cultural figures, student organizations of the relevant nature; Ukrainian book, library, periodicals, etc.; Ukrainian song (creation of national choirs), etc. It is stated that for teachers and public figures of the XIX – early XX centuries was habitual the emphasis on the proximity of the Ukrainian people to the democratic values of the European civilization: attention to self-development, self-education and self-realization, the need to form a spiritually independent, active personality with a clear civic position, a developed sense of self and national dignity.uk_UA
