dc.description.abstractМета статті полягає у визначенні сутності, структури, характерних особливостей та педагогічних умов реалізації принципу полікультурності в сучасному освітньому процесі. У процесі наукового дослідження використовувалися такі методи, як теоретичний аналіз, порівняння, узагальнення спеціальної літератури з проблеми дослідження. Наголошується, що зазначений принцип розвивається в річищі теорії та практики полікультурної освіти, яка проголошує визнання наявності різноманіття рівноцінних культур та затвердження доброчинності їх взаємодії як для учасників освітнього процесу, так і для суспільства в цілому. Доводиться необхідність розробки ефективних соціально-педагогічних умов і засобів організації й реалізації даного процесу.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractThe purpose of the article consists in determination of the essence, structure, characteristic features and pedagogical terms of realization of multicultural principle in a modern educational process. In the process of research, such methods as theoretical analysis, comparison, generalization of the special literature, were used. It must be noted that the principle is developed in line with the theory and practice of multicultural education, which recognizes the existence of a diversity of coequal cultures and affirms the beneficial nature of their interaction both for participants of the educational process and for society as a whole. In this regard, the multicultural educational model, becoming the basis for the formation of the civil identity of students, is aimed at providing a harmonious introduction of the students to both the culture of the majority and to one's own cultural traditions. In the context of continued global integration and globalization, the dialogue of cultures becomes more important than ever. The need to develop effective social and educational conditions and means for organizing and implementing this process is proved. Analyzing the most common approaches to the multiculturalism in scientific literature, we considered both general and specific features of such concepts as multiculturalism and tolerance, multicultural education and international education, multicultural position and multicultural competence of the educator, the place of the Multicultural Principle in the system of general pedagogical principles, and global education. The main tasks of the poly culture education are: a profound and comprehensive understanding of the culture of one's own people by the educators and students; formation of an understanding of the diversity of world cultures among participants of the educational process, the cultivation of a positive attitude to cultural distinctiveness, harboring the ability of the students to integrate with different cultures; development of exercises and skills for productive interaction with carriers of various cultures; training of educators and students in the spirit of peace, tolerance, humanism in interethnic communication. Thus, multiculturalism in the modern world is an integral part of modern education, educational culture, individual culture, and also part of the national culture of the state.uk_UA
