Схарактеризовано ключові поняття дослідження – «концептуалізм», «ленд-арт», «камера обскура». Висвітлено історію розвитку ленд-арта в Україні та світі. Окреслено концептуальні засади та принцип дії камер обскура К. Друрі на прикладі таких арт-об’єктів, як «Хвильова палата», «Хатина тіней», «Море змін», «Зоряна палата», «Палата неба і гір», «Хмарна камера для дерев і неба».uk_UA
dc.description.abstractIntroduction. In modern conditions of modernization of the system of general secondary education in the light of the Concept of the “New Ukrainian School”, one of the key competences that the learner has to possess is awareness and expression in the field of culture, which means the ability to understand works of art, to form one’s own artistic tastes, express one’s experience and feelings with the help of art. The aim of the article is to introduce the art of conceptualism in land art to senior students on the example of Chris Drury’s camera obscura. Research methods: analysis of studies on the problem under discussion, study of educational programs and documents, the method of terminological analysis, which made it possible to give definitions to the key concepts of research. Research results. When studying the art of the American cultural region (Grade 10) and the art of the European cultural region (Grade 11), provided by the Art Program for general education institutions (10–11 grades), for a better understanding of regional peculiarities of art development, it is necessary to familiarize students with such a direction of contemporary art as conceptualism on the example of Chris Drury’s camera obscura. In the article the key concepts of research – “conceptualism”, “land art”, “camera of obscura” – are described. The history of land art development in Ukraine and in the world is highlighted. The conceptual foundations and the principle of work of Chris Drury’s cameras obscura on the example of such art objects as “Wave Chamber”, “Hut of the Shadow”, “The Sea of Change”, “Star Chamber”, “Sky Mountain Chamber”, “Cloud chamber for the trees and sky”. Conclusions. Introducing the art of conceptualism in land art to senior students on the example of Chris Drury’s camera obscura will enrich knowledge of 10–11 grade students on contemporary art in the countries of America and Europe; will allow to form not only artistic competence, but also to instill love for nature and the environment. The prospects for further research are seen in development of the problem of senior students’ artistic competence formation through modern visual art.uk_UA
